The first time I listened to this song on cassette tapes was when I was a teenager. A few years ago, I found a file of each song on the Internet and edited the whole file and uploaded it on KZbin only for me to listen to it. I'm so happy that many people share the greatness of this music. I pay tribute to the great composer, Roger Strader.

Ouvi essa cantata no dia posterior ao meu batismo, em 24.12.1998. Ela foi a primeira cantata que apresentei, em 24.12.2004. Ela é linda. Que saudades dela! Como gostaria de apresenta-la novamente, mas infelizmente não disponho mais do playback. Já se passaram 20 anos!

One of the BEST CHRISTMAS CANTATAS/PAGEANTS of its time and even still today...The music flowed naturally and illustrated through word painting and skilled arrangements the essence of the true Christmas message found throughout God's Holy Word. I thank God for Fellowship Baptist Church, Columbus, OH for introducing me to such a timeless event in 1983 when this work was chosen as the theme for that year's annual Christmas Pageant. Thank you Mrs. Dinoff!! Thank you Roger Strader for creating this.

My choir did this cantata in I think 1982. I actually sang the part of Mary. North Phoenix Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ. It changed my life. So beautiful.
