What a reminiscent. I used to play this game same version in 1995 in my childhood. This is the only game I loved the most. So much memories with this.

This brought back memories of figuring out how to do this game faster as a kid. A lot of these tricks, though, I didn't know about as a kid. Jumping over the skeleton was top... not to mention catching ledges on your way down and besting the level 8 guard like that. Very impressed.

Holy crap. I just played v1.4 on DOSBox and the last trick before the prince rejoins with his Shadow on level 12, the glitch that allowed his to skip the last climb, worked.

Despite your comment's age, I will respond. I discovered this glitch spontaneously. I think it is just that the prince neither touches the ground nor changes the level after the grasp, or maybe it is just a question of code speed.

Cause the game has been programmed if he comes down by left side part of ledges the spikes will work but here he jumps and holds the ledge beside the spikes.

aw wtf the glitch on the 4th level seems to be quite hard to do... or mayb my version cant do it... dunno... tell me if u have a good recipe for it anyway... i tried to do the same as you, but it didnt spook the guard... or maybe i didnt see everything.

I still can't figure out how to jump pass the guard. Only did it once and I don't know what I did.... :S I do use some of these hacks - like getting passed the skeleton or the level 7 jump etc...
