Totally agree. In this rendition though, I feel Varma-ji has excelled his guru even! Every time I hear him, I feel he very much resembles his illustrious guru in all aspects of sangIta and sAhitya.. Balamurali-gaaru has taught all his disciples so well, what a wonderful guru he was.. Of course, Avaneeswaram Vinu, Harikumar and the others have provided superb accompaniment.
