A lil background on this song, people think this is/was Sinead O'Connor's song it's not. Back in the 80's Prince wrote and recorded this song but never released it. He later created a group called The Family and wrote their whole album and on that album he gave them this song. And imo their version is the best version. If you get a chance go on KZbin and type The Family Nothing Compares 2 U and listen to their version, and one more thing when he passed that group in honor of redid the song they changed their name to fDeluxe and that version of this song is amazing.

The Glam Slam concert is 🔥🔥🔥 That beautiful lady is the fabulous Rosie Gaines who was part of his band The New Power Generation for a few years, mainly during the Diamonds and Pearls era. This version of NC2U is the gold standard. The best version ever! I don’t know if you know, but Prince wrote the song. The energy between him and Rosie is fabulous. The connection they had. There voices perfectly complimenting each other. One thing I always say, you don’t just listen to Princes music …. You feel it! The emotion in his music and especially his live performances is unmatched. He has music for every emotion. He can make you want to dance, laugh, smile, get sexy or cry! The most talented all round artist we will ever experience. More Prince please 💜please react to Empty Room/Elixir live at Montreux 2009, you will love it! Your mind will be blown at what he does with his guitar, the emotion! Then with the the second song you see what he can do with his amazing voice. He was 51 at this point and at the top of his genius in my opinion … truly unmatched! I’ll try find the link and post it in the comments for you. You won’t be disappointed trust me.

@@kristinmelinamercury8880 Rosie’s first appearance was in Graffiti Bridge in and around 1990, the Revolution disbanded in 1986 at the end of the Parade Tour. So Rosie was not in The Revolution 💜

Watching your Prince journey has been a treat! I recommend Prince Live at The Ritz,1981 for an early live concert. It supports his 3rd album Dirty Mind. He has over 40 albums so maybe starting at the beginning might be a way to see his evolution. For You is his 1st album, 1978.

Rosie Gains….incredible voice. He and she was fenamonel together. Sienad O’Conner altso sing this song. They had a big argu with that. He think she had stolen his song, I thougth that too…….

@@Room2703Reacts you can hear and read about that case with O’Connor, its a interview with her about it. The pancake 🥰 always have two side. I cant beliwe all Connor said in this interview. I dont remember Prince had an interview about that, but I’m sure he said somthing about it.
