I remember this song fondly. I actually heard this song before Herbie Hancock's Cantaloupe Island. It lead me to it. I'll always be grateful for that. But 15 year old me who just listened to the radio back was lucky to get the exposure from these guys. I enjoyed your reaction, keep up the good work, gentlemen.

This made me want to dive into my old cd’s and pick up Guru’s Jazzmatazz album from the early 90’s, that features Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith and Donald Byrd among others… these jams, just like US3 helped me widen the spectrum of my musical tastes and were like a musicology class to the then 15 years old me… such good memories!
