Was at this amazing gig, front row. This benefit show was directly after the VH1 Honors. When Berry Gordy led Stevie onto the stage P actually fell down laughing & stayed seated looking up at Steve while strumming the golden axe, quite a moment. You rarely saw Prince humbled.. Funky, funky show.

Nope. June 1994. I was there. lol There had been an award show right around then, so people/musicians/artists were in town, around and about in Los Angeles. Hence... Stevie + Prince on the same stage at the same time. Really stays with you in your heart and soul. Prince should still be here...
