People need to stop being so polite/diplomatic by saying Prince was "one of the greatest" out of respect for other guitar masters past and present and simply acknowledge what we all know is true but are reluctant to boldly declare. Prince is the greatest guitar player that has ever lived. Period. End of story. When comparing him to other guitar gods it's important to consider that Prince was equally proficient on the bass guitar as he demonstrated so often during live performances and on his albums as he played all of the instrumental parts on the vast majority of his records. The only people that deny Prince his due respect as the greatest guitar player have simply not taken the time to evaluate his body of work or are incapable of critical assessment.

Cheeky little P - sad that most of the audience looked like they didn't care about this epic event. Most looks a bit bored or like they just don't get Prince and his talent. It bothers me when huge rockstars are playing a gig my country and the best seats has been given to the shareholders and business partners. Most of them don't know the artist and they don't want to engage with the crowd and have a good time. I've experienced it with Pink Floyd (and Roger Waters solo), Prince, David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz just to name a few. If you aren't interested in the artist, then give/sell your tickets to someone that wants to watch the show...! I used to work for a world known web portal and we were promotional partners for music- and sports events. We were given free tickets to football matches, concerts ect., but I would never grab a ticket, just because it was free. I'd only say yes, thank you, if I weren't interested in the act. Music and sports events are for the fans, they are the ones that puts butter on the shareholders bread, so have a little respect for them. 💜💜💜💜💜💜❤️
