Arsenio Hall didn't set Prince up with the vault question. If U were old enough 2 know it was common knowledge that Prince had a vault of material. All he did was record. Prince could release an album/CD annually 4 decades.

Wasn't to common of knowledge if the African american connection to mainstream media either played like he didn't know or knew all along and was being a pawn . if Prince was the first person he called when he came back to late night they obviously had a deep connection and special relationship. I'm a huge Prince and prior to his death for years I been seeing people discuss his vault. Basically where all the bootlegs came from. It's still a mystery how someone was able to access the music to be able to release it on bootleg.

I knew about the vault before that interview. He said that he created many songs, but not every song fit his use so he stored them. (Michael did the same thing). In fact he stated that someone else will most likely publish them when he's gone.

I remember reading about Prince's musical vault as far back as 1983. Prince had also appeared on Arsenio's show twice..in 1991 (promoting the "Diamonds And Pearls" album) and in 1993 (promoting the "Symbol" album). Arsenio's show was canceled due to low ratings. Also, his (then young) audience from the late 80's/early 90's (who used to stay up late to watch him...including me) grew up. In the present day, they now have to be up early in the morning, take the kids to school and arrive at work on time. They're not going to stay up late. It was good to see him back on TV for a while. R.I.P to Prince. I miss him every day.

Smith, u have the right idea, but Arsenio was not the key. In fact, Arsenio at a certain point, had himself been shunned by Music/Hollywood industry. The deal is that Prince was taken out the way many monarchs in history are taken out: through agents close to him (pharmacists/cooks/servants) who have access and have been paid to make the whole thing look like an accident by the elite who want control of Prince's billion dollar master tapes. He was even found unalived in an elevator ("R We Gonna Let the Elevator Take Us Down?" from Let's Go Crazy....the (de)elevator is code for Satan or spiritual spiral into drug use and depression). So, whomever planned his demise had a sick sense of humor. Furthermore, as @DaLawn has stated "if you are old enough to know" Prince was notoriously sober for 40 years straight. He maybe had a sip of champagne once or twice, but never did drugs or alcohol. Never. Had the press said anything other than 'fentanyl" I might have believed the official story, but again, Prince was notorious for one thing: no drugs. Now, I have seen the footage of Prince riding his bike to the local pharmacy but that footage was based off him picking up painkillers (Sheila E can vouch for this) because he didn't want anyone else (ironically) poisoning his meds.

I did hear this however. I heard he was on prescription pain medicine In an interview from someone close to him I don't remember if it was Sheila e, or who. He was on it for years because he would do all kinds of crazy dances while wearing heels, Even jumping off speakers with heels on. But something I thought I heard, for some reason I remember reading he couldn't get his prescription like he normally did from the doctor for the narcotic pain medicine, So he had an associate purchase it from the street which ultimately led to his untimely death. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I could dig up the article somewhere. So I don't understand this video if what I read was true.

The emergency plane landing with the Narcan shot was staged as well and I probably had something to do with it too and I’m covering up for the murder right? I love his music, i witnessed the absolute best concert I’ve ever seen live a couple of times and to believe this brother is gone and the way he went out is incredibly sad, but to ignore his addiction and say it was whatever you trying to say is taking away an opportunity for someone who is struggling to take this as a wake up call. Use you first amendment rights wisely lest they somehow come back to haunt you.
