The beach photo: The grass has definitely been added. It appears to be foreground, but both Luis and George's feet are in front of the grass. But there is no shadow on the grass....if it were indeed not foreground, you should see there shadows as they would be basically jumping over it. Charlottes right leg looks like it's made out of rubber. And Luis's left arm looks very odd. He looks more like he's bouncing on a trampoline....both legs up equally. As a photographer with a degree in this area. The image looks very 2D flat in appearance with no depth of field. They could well have Photoshopped the image of them jumping and then added it on another background. Very easy to do by adding a New Layer in Photoshop then importing the background, next drag and drop the image on top the of the other image ect. Then they would use the erase brush to edit out what they don’t want in the image.

Look at Louis doing the froglegs. That's a trampoline move, not jumping off a sand dune. Also, when in doubt with photoshop, check the lighting. Each one of them is lit from a different angle. I believe those "fun" photos are common now. People like to jump and then edit the photo to look like they're doing something else like sky diving for example. I imagine they were jumping on a trampoline and then the fun edit was created. I think that's just a sign of the time. They looked they were having fun so no harm no foul.
