Just when I thought he couldnt add any more detail, he added more suprised as I may have been I was sure he couldn't have been able to add any more, paint me suprised as he continued to add more detail, surely he couldnt add any more and to my surprise once more, he adds even more detail. Great work on this as amazing as ever though, you do seem to be getting better, can't wait until the day this suit of armor is finished.

Can the pauldrons be attached to the gorget the same way or will there be a big gap between the two? And in this case is the flared ridge required or decorative?

Very nice pattern- I've lurked for a while and still very amazed at the talent. I'm also very surprised and happy at how organized your video is. From the markers on the timeline, to the jumps to specific parts in the info section. Just wanted to say both artistic and organizational skills are much appreciated and impressive.

Is there an easy way to convert already made spaulders from the first pattern without leaving gaping holes? I love this new look but I already have invested time and material into the first pattern (which I also love but also made a female breast plate). Keep being awesome! And since I am writing, are you planning on making any tutorials on how to make animal/animal skull pattern helmet or mask designs? I for the life of me cannot wrap my head around how to make one and I cant seem to find any tutorials on how to make one and it not be super complicated. (dragons, ravens, bears, tigers, etc or just how to get a basic animal shape would be great)!
@Princearmory4 жыл бұрын
Take a look early in the video (and on the new pattern) how it cuts away part of the original pattern, I made it so you can use your original work if you followed the original pattern. Other patterns and tutorials will be coming in the future.

Hey, on your last vid I asked "Is there a method to get a fluting effect seen on Gothic Armour? One that pushes the leather out into a peak, rather than stamping it in like with tooling done here?" and "Do you have any patterns for a Sugarloaf Crusader Great Helm, the one with a rounded and slightly pointed top for deflection rather than the flat older flat top Great Helm, all I can find is foam cosplay patterns that have no real understanding of armour and how it conforms to human anatomy, rather than just being a flat surface. Also a pattern or a more historical Breastplate would be appreciated if possible? The type that has a globe shape and cuts at the natural waist to allow for movement, instead of cutting at the hips which is restrictive." You hearted both comments, but didn't reply. Just curious if that means you plan on vids that address them? As I really would like some help on these points. I can't afford to waste material experimenting.

How long does it take to make a single piece of armor?
@bjornsworkshop92884 жыл бұрын
As with most hand crafted things, it depends on the complexity of the design and how detailed you want it to be. Something plain and simple may be able to be completed in an afternoon over a few hours where as something lavishly detailed may take weeks or more.
