Jippy, though I may have unceremoniously discovered you through the Rat Lord, I honestly think you're my favorite beat guy like 6 or 7 years now. I say this as another lifelong beat guy. You're a musician's musician- the vox cuts and tape themes are always interesting and/or entertaining, the beats are always world class, and your output is nothing short of fuckin' prolific. You were on BT:31 three years ago. Most of your albums are basically double length, so by that measure you've put out the equivalent of 14 standard length albums in the past 3 years. Plus you're Australian, so extra points for that Caant. Every Jippy Beat Tape is an honest gift I actually get excited about when I see one drop. There are fewer and fewer things that genuinely do that for me as the world goes on.
