I do hope the monks provided him with a wonderful piano, or allowed him to bring his with him. Arthur Rubinstein was fond of speaking and providing examples of "singing tone." Well, this playing is what he meant

Magnifique pianiste, musicien accompli au touché remarquable. Son choix de se retirer fut pour le monde de la musique une décision difficile, respectable ceci dit, compte tenu de la raison profonde qui l'a conduite à faire un tel choix . Quel dommage que cet enregistrement ne soit plus disponible.
