Funerals in Sweden are traditionally followed by the attendees gathering in the parish house to share a meal, either a hot meal or sandwich cake, followed by coffee and cake. So asking if there will be cake at a funeral in Sweden is not completely random.

This is quite clever, it's not unusual for someone to connect one thing (s)he starts with to the thing (s)he ends with, but in this case, it's like 4 different things he brings up in the segment that all connects in the end. Pretty clever. Unfortunately I can't say it's that funny, but I still appreciate the craftmanship. :)
