€60,000 for a nice week on the boat? Great! That’ll make some nice memories. Thank you.

Nice to see Paul and Victoria again. Nick also chartered a Princess and they where on board for his family . Vertainly your right Hugh get a group together and it brings down the cost by sharing. Victoria is amazing with preparing the food out a not a particularly large galley. Paul unflappable as every. Your in safe hands to enjoy the the boat, the food, the sceanry, and a bunch of friend. You looked relaxed on your return. Thanks for showing us the charter.

Same crew, Paul and Victoria, that ran the Princess 72 charter that Aquaholics Nick did. Glad you had a good time.

I've been trying to find things to motivate me to keep grinding on my business, and I don't generally need any material things. But this has done it. This is what I need! This is what I'm working so hard for. What a great video. So nicely done 👌 Thanks. Subed!

Great video and very illustrated for us that have never chartered. For future ideas, I would love to see the 3 of you do a show about charters at certain price points with and areas of the Med. similar to your under 100k boat video. Also perhaps a video of basic questions "the idiots guide to chartering" to ask a charter. It looked amazing. Cheers!

Hi Hugo. I remember your charter on B4 princess 72. Now aboard their addition J4 princess 88, themagic of waking up in paradise. Maybe you should do the yacht share you discussed with Jack and Nick. Awesome video thanks 😊

You forgot to mention how it changed you. You started the video as a pale Englishman excited about a fancy trip, and ended up as a laid back, tanned, Tom Cruise, grateful for time with the family. Great video, thanks for sharing. Now all I need to do is find a spare $80k I guess...

Yachts are interesting but I'm again and again quite put off by the seemingly extreme prices for charter compared to the cost of the boat. Let's say it's a 4million euro boat, roughly 50k per week, let's say 40 weeks a year, that would be the entire cost of the boat in 2 years. Especially grave considering that yachts don't depreciate that much, it's more new yachts that rise in price for the same model. There are some 7 year old yachts that sell for almost exactly what they originally cost. That leaves a huge disparity between charter and owning a boat. Say you fractionally owned 1/8 of the same boat. that's 500k or teen weeks of charter. Which you could do in your own boat in a couple of years, after which most of the boats value is still owned. I think you can reasonably say that charter is 5-10x more expensive than fractionally owning the boat. And that's a shame.

I guess you've really got to like water to spend £60,000+ for a party of 8 for one week. I could buy a decent boat for that money, or take a year off. Too pricey.

Forty nine grand. Plus fuel, food, mooring etc, a tip for the crew and flights. Riiight. So, about 60k for ONE WEEK’S holiday in Spain? Struggling to see the value there, to be honest. Boating is just a licence to rip people off…

Oh PLEASE!!!!!! Get us out on the water already, for God's sake! I don't want to sit around in the harbor listening to you people run your mouths! Why can't you videographers understand that many of us just want to experience the yacht on the water??? We don't click on these videos to see and hear the constant yacking faces, front and center, while the yacht plays second fiddle!!! It's OUTRAGEOUS! All these yachting & sailing videos and NOT ONE puts the vessel first! NOT ONE!!! I"M SICK OF IT! It's pure torture to want nothing more than to experience the yacht on the water and get only yacking faces! Please understand, I don't say this to be mean. I'm just voicing my frustration for never finding that certain video that would allow me the vicarious pleasure of sailing & yachting on a wide, blue, open sea. Sadly, I can never seem to find it. I'm denied so much in life. All I want is this one little pleasure. Can't someone understand?

You should be ashamed. Roughly €70,000 for a week vacation is ridiculous.other people are bleeding and suffering and dying like a dog on the street. Therefore it’s more about memories versus taking responsibility for the money. Your job is about reporting of a sick world, the world of the super rich.

1 criticism, the female crew uniform is pretty sexist, given the recent backlash at the olympics against the skimpy female athetles attire, I think these skirts and tight blouses are pretty naff. Unless of course you make the male crew wear skimpies and revealing shorts. It’s 2021 not 1960! James needs to rethink this.
