I think it was called something like "Princess Anne gives rare look inside her living room". Some people criticised her because it was cluttered with books, ornaments, photographs, and even a dog basket, and looked like any old "commoner's" living room, which just goes to show that no matter what Princess Anne does, there are always going to be some people making negative comments. Best to ignore them. She is deservedly one of the most popular members of the royal family.

@@giuliakhawaja7929 Like her father, she has a great sense of humour. I think it was during a Parkinson interview when she was asked about having worn an old outfit that she had worn a decade before. Anne is probably the hardest working Royal and most low key of the bunch. There are no scandals swirling around her as around her brothers. A divorce is not a scandal. Anne also made the decision not to request titles for her kids, making it easier for them to live more anonymous lives and thus increased personal freedom. A good chunk of those tiaras, jewelry, buildings etc don’t belong to Anne personally. They belong to the Crown or the government. Yes, she may ride in a private jet, met famous people, live in a fancy mansion or castle and dine on the best foods. But she is not able to go anywhere without media scrutiny at every turn. Dickie Arbiter (commentator) has called for a "Regency Act 2022" to enact this change; the last Regency Act of this type was in 1937 when the Queen Mother was made a Counsellor, so it is not without precedent.

What you have shown us only cements my high regard for Princess Anne. The so called high end extravagant clothes shown for the most part seem to be work a day and very practical. The expensive tiaras are known to be the property of the crown. One does not seem to realize the importance of the pageantry of the royal family to not only their institution but also to the nation. If it did not exist the people themselves would be very disappointed. Anne herself has been able to do amazing work for not only the royal establishment but also for the citizens of the United kingdom while incongruously flying under the cruel radar of sensationalistic press. While other royals are botching it she has remained steady, reliable and predictable. Of course she will live in style. What do you expect? She is a real princess after all. I wish she was destined to be the next Monarch. But it is for her to say whether or not she personally would want it. Perhaps not. The intense focus on individual royal persona recently with Her Majesty"s life drawing to a close has revealed another thing not realised about Princess Anne: during Queen Elizabeth's aging years, Princess Anne has been quietly taking on extra duties for the Queen and relieved her aging mother thereby without anybody even realizing it. I am touched by the way she has respectfully covered her mother's needs brought on by age and in so doing held up her mother's dignity. You have a good character Your Highness and I salute you. You have earned the title Knight of the Garter in an honest way without any nepotism. Best regards.

I agree. She could really use a makeover in hair and makeup. But I get the clear impression that she couldn’t care less about such “girlie girl” activities. She spends her time on the more meaningful and productive duties of her job and clearly deserves praise for her seemingly endless service.

princess anne deserves a lavish life. she is not only a princess royal she is one of the most dedicated effective public servants the royals have produced. I have read consistently for two decades of her attending to over 500 public appearances each year the highest number of any royal family member. I assume the data is accurate and as there are 365 days in a year do the math. She also has a very extensive private life with children, grandchildren and other family members. I hope this video is not some criticism. She is a treasure and I believe most of the british public feels similarly about her.

I wish Anne could be next crowned, because she works so hard for the uk, and her loyalty. I think she is beautiful and smart. and is still quite dignified and strong. She deserves the lavish treatment due to her strength and willingness to be exactly what a child of the queen should do and be. I think she is the most deserving person close to the queen. I would love to not hear about the tawdry people associated with the monarchy anymore. It would be such a relief to only hear about these genuine bluebloods who behave well. No more shocking crassness, please

Princess Anne would chew you gossip sites up and spit out the trash, I will not hear anything bad about our Princess Royal. If we had our way she would be next on the throne and not Charles. Anne is an absolute delight, she does not suffer fools. After our Queen she is the hardest working royal we have in 2021 alone she had 387 royal engagements and that's with a pandemic going on. She survived an attempted kidnapping and she still didn't get any police protection like Harry is demanding and threatening over. Her first marriage broke down it happens to the rest of us as well however they way she conducted it was absolutely awesome she gave her ex husband a home on her estate so the children had both parents that is a good mother and person. Her entire life has been about horses and show jumping. Zara and Peter are a credit to their parents. Zara married a rugby player and he was welcomed with open arms. I won't sit and see a hatchet job done on her she is a jewel in our crown.

The Princess Royal is our hardest working member of the Royal family. Yes, she’s a Royal Princess and will indeed travel in luxury and live in a nice abode, even the Palace or a castle on various occasions but I would hardly say she has a lavish lifestyle in comparison with some other nations Princes, Princesses or Presidents and their families.

Just a thought, does anyone think it is "cheaper" to have private tutors teach their children at home (in this case Buckingham Palace, which the family doesn't own) than to send them to an outside school, public or private? You've never priced private tutors.The Royal Family pays for itself in tourist dollars or pounds revenue. No government could afford the positive press that comes with the British Royal Family. Sorry, I wasn't born into the same upper-class life that the Princess Royale is paying it back in service. Haters will always hate! We've already figured out that Anne has come from an upper-class background, do we really need to go into the pit of jealousy and envy. as this video has done?
@anncoffey83752 жыл бұрын
Really well said! No one has any choice in the station of their birth. They are simply born into it whether it be in a slum, a war zone or a palace. I would not trade a life of anonymity and relative freedom for one where my life would be under a microscope with jealous, envious people constantly criticizing and ignorant videos such as this one talking through the top of their heads. They clearly haven't a clue and just sensationalise their cluelessness for $$$$$. Best to avoid them.

An overblown story. Princess Anne is one of the hardiest working Royals in that family. If you watch the video by her daughter, Zara, Anne goes out via helicopter to Royal engagements & then comes home late at night to go gather the eggs from all the chickens as she has a farm. She believes staying active keeps her young.
