Princess Belle | Cosplay DIY

After 4 years of hunting for the perfect yellow satin I was finally able to make my Princess Belle dreams a reality. This dress took me a total of 23 hours to make, from drafting parts of the pattern all the way to making 13 little roses that were hand stitched on with love. I had an amazing experience wearing this cosplay for the first time at Forest City Comic Con and I look forward to wearing it many times in the future.

I took my waist measurement and the measurement I wanted the bottom of the skirt to be and divided them by the number of panels I wanted to get the top and bottom of each panel. and then for the length I did the length I wanted x2 so that I would have enough fabric for gathering. Don't forget to add your seam allowance!
