My senior year 1991 I started discovering all of the good music of the 80's, after only hearing stuff like Van Halen, Poison, G&R, def leopard, Bon jovi, as well as pop and other crap, not knowing there was way better music. Then a kid turned me on to The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siousxie and the Banshees, Joy Division, New Order, NIN, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Pixies and lots of other GREAT stuff that I'd never heard and it opened up my life in such a happy way.
