This video is about the Princess Ship Embarkation Day process, sail away from SF and what to know before and after your cruise! This video gives you some tips to avoid stress and hassle during the boarding process and onboarding process
The main San Francisco cruise terminal pier 27 is nestled under tourist attraction Coit Tower and steps away from Pier 39 Fisherman's Wharf. We show you the location of pier 35 and 30 -32 which typically welcome ships not originating in San Francisco or when there are 2 or more ships in port at the same time.
Embark on a magical journey with the Royal Princess Cruise - beginning in San Francisco and journeying to the paradise of Alaska, Mexico Riveria, Southern CA, Seattle or Hawaii from the Port of San Francisco.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The cruise ship scheduled departure is typically 4pm and it is normally actually leaving at 4:30 and going under the Golden Gate Bridge between 5pm and 6pm
There are situations where the tide in San Francisco Bay is extremely low which may delay the departure time
One thing to accomplish on board before departure is the muster drill (what to do in an emergency). I tried watching the video while waiting in line in the terminal and was unable to do it. Once on board you can watch on your device or if you watch in the room TV then everyone assigned to the room gets credit for watching. You also have to swipe your medallion at the station designated for your cabin. More on this topic in a video posted after this one.

I can't believe it - I've dropped my mother, aunt, and uncle off there and it's very true about the traffic getting backed up. They do have a lot of patrol officers there guiding cars in which helps. Seniors can be slow too so patience everyone - once the check-in starts and passengers are on board it's fun, fun, fun.
