In the wake of the royal coronation it seemed fortuitous that this huge box of Princess Diana fashion doll items arrived at my door, so I thought I would open it up, admire all the intricate details that Franklin Mint fashions include, and talk about the positives and negatives of these less well-known fashion dolls. To top it off, why not put a crown on Diana's head?

It is unfortunate that Franklin Mint doesn't produce today like they used to. I have Scarlett O'Hara and she is one of my prize possessions. I have most of her early separate dresses and I wish to get the others but the clothing came with a doll and made it too expensive for me. Enjoy your Diana, she is on my wish list !

Yes, there really were some amazing collections they released. I also love Guinevere Julia as I love their historic styling… but super hard to find as well. Hope you find the dresses you want.

As this doll is no longer being produced you will only be able to find her secondhand, such as on Ebay.

As far as I know, yes, the shoes are about the only thing that is the same size amongst the different FM dolls, but I am away from home at the moment so I can’t check to confirm for absolute certain.
