This is almost enough to make me stuck my fingers down my throat and spew, the way that Diana did. Thoughtfulness? Yes, she thought hard about what was going to get her the maximum attention and good press. Character? Yep, the sort of person whose character led her to cheat on her husband, ruin three marriages, bully the wives of her lovers, and tell lies about her husband. Personality? The sort of personality that that made her fall out with every friend she ever had. Wit? You know how some people collect pleasant little saying and use them to cheer the world? Well, Diana did the opposite - she had a collection of spiteful, nasty, demeaning sayings that she dropped in at every possible opportunity. Intelligence? Are you making a joke? Diana could barely read a speech intelligently. They were written for her, and she read them in public, three words at a time, like a seven year old, often putting the emphasis in the wrong place. She was utterly dumb about everything but she knew exactly how to help officers out of their tight trousers.

She showed no compassion for her sons when she allowed he affairs to be so open that the boys were ridiculed at school for their mother's promiscuity. She showed no compassion whatsoever for Dr Hasnat Kahn when she went off to Paris with a playboy millionaire. And YOU write about her "integrity"! Diana was not a "kind" person. She had a role, and that entailed taking part in some official engagements, and visiting charitable institutions. THAT was her WHOLE JOB. Why on earth do people think it was amazing that several times a week she went to a hospice or nursing home? THAT was her job. Apart from.the Queen who has many official duties every single day of her life, all the other Royals WORK for charities-. They found charitable institutions, they set up trusts, they plan strategies, they call meetings, they chair committees, the decide how funds are to be administered. And, like Diana, they do public appearances- visits to their charities, and perform official functions like, for example, attending the graduation ceremony of a university, year after year, to hand out the awards and find something nice to say personally to hundreds of students. Diana was not capable of doing ANYTHING that was boring and occupied her time for more than a few minutes. Diana was a total phoney, and if you look harder, you will see it written all over her beautiful face.

You need to realise that every other member of the Royal Family, except the Queen who was busy every single day with affairs of State, WORKED for charities. They founded charitable organisations, they assembled boards, they directed, they called meetings, they planned strategies, and they travelled to dangerous places to administer the goods.... food, clothing, shelter, educational facilities .... or whatever the charity aimed to do. Diana NEVER worked for a charity. What she did, as Patron, was cheerful, and much welcome hospital and hospice visits where she had her photo taken for the media. She had no integrity at all. She broke up her own marriage by shagging her security officer in the year she was pregnant with Harry. She broke up two other marriages. She harassed men's wives until they took her to court. She betrayed the Queen's generosity by calling a press team into Kensington Palace and bad-mouthing the Royal Family. And the WORST thing that she did was sit there gazing SO SWEETLY at a reporter while she claimed that "There were always three in the marriage..." It was a lie. There is NO EVIDENCE that Charles cheated on Diana with Camilla or anyone else between the engagement and 1986, more that a year after the marriage had broken down "Irretrievably". There is no reason to doubt Charles' word on this, because all his friends and staff knew it to be true. What Diana did, in lying about our future Monarch and Head of State, was just plain evil. The reason it was evil is that she used her beauty, fame, popularity, charm, femininity, and the press to influence the minds of MILLIONS of people, who believe her....... simply because they believe that someone who looks so much like an angel must be telling the truth.

Naomi Reid, You know how recently everybody has been using the term "narcissist" generally with very little understanding of what it really means? Let me expalin it to you. A narcissist can be just a vain and selfish person; BUT a person who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder is someone with a pervasive condition from which they will probably never recover. It is very very hard to treat, because the person can never admit they have a problem within themselves. This was Diana. Outwardly- beautiful, charming, and seeming to have great empathy. Actually- Cunning, calculating, manipulative and insincere. When Diana married Charles she seemed young and innocent- But she had had twelve years of wrecking people's happiness, including her own. For twelve years she had resented her parents' divorce, tried to stop them remarrying, been hateful to their spouses, led her brother into trouble, competed with her sisters, told lies, failed school, pushed her step-mother down stairs, and been determined to marry either a Duke or a Prince. Charles didn't know any of this, of course. So when he told her he had had four previous girlfriends, and he was saying Goodbye to them- THEN she didn't believe him, and started to rage with accusations- before they had even married. Charles wanted out...... but an engagement is a binding contract. So Diana went on..... just the way she had done for twelve years previous- raging, tantrumming, smashing things, accusing, telling lies, bullying, destroying his possessions, and getting other people (the men that she slept with) into trouble. After five years Charles was so depressed that two of his friends contacted his old girlfriend Camilla, and suggested that she should resume contact. When Diana told the Press that Charles had cheated on her- it was a lie. When Diana told the Press that the Royal Family didn't help her settle in- it was a lie. When Diana told the Press that Charles was not suitable to be king, it was a terrible lie because he is a man of exceptionally good character and intelligence. When Diana told the Press that she was the ONLY one that LOOOVED people......... she just seems to have forgotten about the Queen driving an ambulance through the bombing of London, doesn't she? And Prince Philip's Mother hiding Jews from the Nazis. When the Queen heard what Diana said, she ordered Charles to get a divorce straight away. Diana was not an angel. The lies that she told about the Royal Family are still affecting the lives of those poor people, particularly Charles and Camilla, 25 years later.

She had opted out of all official duties and only did exactly what charity invitations she chose. She was officially seperated, and was entirely supported by Charles. Shehad an apartment in the most beautiful palace in London, a little away from the Queen and Charles so she didn't have to see any of them. She had every luxury that money could buy- hairdresser and beautician who came every day (the Queen and Anne did THEIR OWN hair and makeup) , four or five trips to New York every year, skiing in Switzerland, her driver, security, gay butler who adored her...... she could not want for more. Well, maybe she could. If Charles divorced her, then she would never be Queen. So it was REVENGE time. She took elocution lessons for two years to PREPARE for the tell-all interview. Then she did it. Bad-mouthed the entire Royal Family. Lied about Charles' relationship with Camilla,. And claimed that SHE was the only person who loved people. And what she said, over and over again was "THEY (the Royal Family) put it about that I was mentally ill. THEY didn't understand that I was JUST CRYING OUT FOR ATTENTION!!" And she keeps saying this.... at 35 years old. Having just called the press into the Palace apartment, given her by the Queen. "Nobody understood that I was just CRYING OUT FOR ATTENTION!" Understand that an adult woman who self-harms, treats her husband and stepmother violently, and is bulimic HAS a mental illness. The fact that she had an untreated mental illness for which she reffused help made it almost impossible for Charles to attend public functions with her. When she did things that were physically aggressive to him in public, even before Harry was born, then it was better if they went seperate ways. Diana was ONLY COMFORTABLE around charity situations where she could be magnanimous and appear to shine. Holding the hand of a sick person was easy for her. Meeting the President of Indonesia or the Emperor of Japan was so stressful she was likely to run out of the room. The Press never showed THAT. She NEVER grew up, and at thirty five, she was still trying to get attention (via Martin Bashir and the interview, as id she was still a little eleven year old being sent off to boarding school by a Father who really did not want her around. For this reason NO-ONE could have made Diana happy. James Hewitt couldn't, and he seemed to adore her. And for Chrles, as Prince of Wales, the marriage was a DISASTER. About the landmine walk- that path was an impacted path that had been walked over repeatedly. Princess Anne, on the other hand, was in th habit of driving HERSELF around in wartorn parts of Africa to supervise the delivery of medicine and food. Nobody concerned themselves much about the possibility of Anne getting blown up, shot or abducted.
