Great sea trial! As soon as you trimmed it out it handled 30 knots beautifully. Love your videos Hugo. That princess wasn't making any screeching noise at 30 knots in a swell. We'll built!

Great review, fuel costs seem excessive and that’s why I’ve gone from power to sail….Our Jeanneau 41 under power burns 3 litres per hour at 6 knots….not fast but it’s not always about getting there as quickly as possible…also wind is still free (at the moment) with the sails up it cost nothing and no engine noise!

That’s a fast boat. Your caption says it has 2 x 1,200mph engines. Do you not worry about spray at 2,400 miles an hour? That’s over 3 times the speed of sound? Remarkable, but I can’t imagine the fuel burn 😊

What has happen to princess prices on their boats? In 2020 a new V55 was like 1.5 million and a v60 2 million. Today a new v55 is like 2.5 and a v60 2.8-2.9 is that because of the inflation?

It’s partly that but Princess asked us to quote all their boats inc VAT and with a realistic spec about 18 months ago rather than a price from as per most manufacturers.

@@hugoandreae3785 - very interesting, and credit to Princess. I must say as a late convert to the joys of these boats, I find it bizarre that manufacturers tend to be so coy about their pricing. The only one that follows motor industry practice is Pearl, and then only the 62 and 72. But then, value for money is a huge part of the attraction of the Pearl line.

Well the new 2023 F55 costs 3.2 million, with that money 3 years ago you could’ve bought a new Y78 (which today is about 4.5 million). Princess yachts prices are trough the roof, doesn’t make sense why they’re so overpriced

Lovely boat but to be honest (and no disrespect to you guys as what you do is great) but I’m aware most boats we always see on KZbin channels don’t represent the community. A uk salary of the top 0.1% would only be able to afford a new 35ft boat, and stuff like this is even more out there. It’s great to dream but to see some reviews on used boats would (in my opinion) represent the community better.
