I would have automatically run to the 9th Prince. I wouldn't even go to her master. That move would have taken him longer to find her or at all. She could have boned the 9th prince, married him, and popped out a kid by the time he even found any evidence of her existence. I know I would have done it. At least the 9th Prince didn't treat her like a pawn, but a partner. He trusted her and gave her space and time. He's a keeper. The hubby should have been sent back to Walmart for a refund. He's broken.

@@angelabarbee6901 The issue isn't that the hubby is broken and you need a refund. The issue is that you found... and then bought him from Walmart!! (And I bet you bought him on some kind of discount, and thought THAT price to be good value!). Oh, to be young, naive, and in need of a few life lessons! (Although, my parents have thankfully prevented me from getting a husband... from ANYWHERE! However, my partner selection hasn't been many (wise there!), but so terrible I'm probably on a list that would prevent ANY legal marriage or partnership from happening!).

I am disappointed that she went back to him after doing all that to get out of the palace. The king wants to eat his cake and have it . That man was willing to sacrifice her to get the throne. Why would you go back to such a person ? She should have told him she forgave him but will marry the 9th prince.

Grass is actually quite useful, but point taken. From the wife's point of view, it wasn't just late. It was never there when she thought it was based on his words and actions. Then, when she found the truth she also found out the person she thought he was never actually existed. She is grieving for the husband she thought she was marrying, and for the child that formed from the love between her the 'never existed' husband. The person she had married has betrayed her many times, and they've hurt her (and others) deeply. The wife NEVER wanted to hurt ANYONE ever. However, she likely felt that her husband put the knife in her hands, as they were hurt/harmed by her husband through her.

From my experience when watching dramas, Emperors tend to know how to show love, but not actually how do experience it towards another being. Most Emperors seem to act this a bit better than this guy, but hey. I guess he was a really good manipulator from before he ascended, or even before he became crown prince!
