As a retired nurse, having your tubes tied is out patient surgery, done through the belly button. Once they wake you and you’re clear and functioning you go home for a couple days of rest. I had this procedure done and it takes about 30 min, surgery on Friday and returned to work on Monday. There is more at play here than a simple procedure. Exactly.. unless she had complications.. I know my mom flat lined multiple times during a simple procedure. She also would wake up during surgeries. That's exactly why I'm terrified of any surgery because I take so much after my mom and waking up while in surgery is horrific. When I first heard Catherine was in hospital my first thought was she is pregnant and because she has had such difficult pregnancies she was being cared for for that reason. Then when I heard she won’t be appearing until after Easter I actually became a little more convinced she might be pregnant and needs bed rest. It happened to me during a difficult pregnancy. I needed months of bed rest. The latest thing I a heard was she may be unavailable for 9 months! I’m still feeling she’s pregnant, on bed rest, and keeping it quiet because she knows Meghan would do every evil thing she could to stress her out which would not help her during her pregnancy. I know everyone is saying other things about her but from day one my intuition keeps thinking she is pregnant and just taking the time for a peaceful, no stress pregnancy. I’m probably wrong, please don’t laugh, but deep down I kinda hope she is 😁🍼

A tubal ligation is an easy surgery. I elected to have it done and only ended up with a couple of stitches and was home from the hospital in 2 days. I think she had a much more invasive type of surgery, such as removal of an ovarian cyst, removal an ectopic pregnancy, or perhaps a hysterectomy. Whatever was done, was serious because it was announced she is required to have a long recovery time.

In UK having tubes tried (being made sterile) means overnight in hospital and a week to recover, not the weeks a hysterectomy requires. BUT in a crowd appearance Kate was asked if she was to have any more children and she replied William would kill me.
