Of all games NOT to have a 2-Player assist mode, it's the game most noticeably aimed at kids. Stella is litterally a flying star, perfect for a cursor to help your little one get through obstacles.

Samantha Kelly's take on Peach sure does sound deeper this time around. Does this mean Nintendo might end up replacing her in future installments? On a side note, Grape and Stella might be voiced by LA-based voice actresses, continuing the trend of newer Mario games utilizing LA talent started by Super Mario Odyssey and continuing in games like WarioWare Gold and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

It is. I believe it's because she has a much more vocal range in this game. They wanted to go with her more natural voice to reach those different ranges, instead of Peach's usual higher pitched, soft breathy tone.

Her voice direction here kinda sounds like whenever she's fully voiced like in 64 and 64 DS. Sounds a bit closer to Jen Taylor's Peach, but it is deeper. Kinda makes her sound a little too much like Rosalina at times though.

Ok this is a game that takes place in a what if setting. What if Mario, Luigi, and Bowser.....NEVER EXISTED?! Or better yet, Mario and Luigi go out on a vacation to The bean bean kingdom while Peach has her own downtime ever since Bowser and his Koopa army were recovering from The events of super Mario bros wonder.

Looks like most of the Mario characters have a villain to take down. Mario has Bowser Luigi has King Boo Donkey Kong has King K Rool Wario has Captain Syrup Yoshi has Kamek, Baby Bowser, or Bowser Jr. Technically Bowser has Fawful, Midbus, and the Dark Star/Dark Bowser. And now Peach has the Sour Grape Bunch.

So they made Princess Peach sound less high-pitched. But they had the GALL to disrespect Princess Daisy in Super Mario Bros Wonder and make her voice high-pitched instead!?!! I'm not saying that having a high-pitched voice is a bad thing in and of itself. But Princess Daisy's sassy southern regular pitched voice was fine! They didn't need to change it! I mean, her first console game that's not a party or sports game besides Smash Bros, and they do this to her?!?! As Lionfield says "Not Approved!" PS: I mean no disrespect to Daisy's voice actor for Super Mario Bros Wonder. I just don't like the voice direction.
