Rene would betray them in a heart beat under specific conditions. 1) Climb dies, due to Nazariks negligence or fault. 2) Climb is her singular weakness; so if he is seriously threatened then she could be manipulated through that. 3) A superior force shows itself and demonstrates that the people within the depths of Nazirik are within their sphere of influence (one of the battle maids murdered outside of one of the rooms). As ya said she is Mad brilliant; so if she has a rationale to due so she would betray them easily.

Monster/race levels in the series confused me when they were brought up... 50 levels of Lich=Overlord was it? something weird like that was said about Ainz I remember but I was confused so maybe that's wrong.

From what I understand it’s not about willingly or not, she was planning to only show parts of her capabilities, at least in the beginning to guarantee her worth in the future. However with Papa Bones Daddy participation in her plays in the throne room, she believes Ainz himself has directly set his eyes on her, which from her perspective, create this pressure that 1. She can not mess up at anytime and 2. Ainz already saw her through completely (what is her full capability and what she could be planning to do with it). Which in Renner’s mind leaves her no choice but to give her all. This is to say Renner would follow her initial plan to not give her all if Ainz did not join that throne room acts and agree to have Pandora as replacement or even having only Albedo there (keep in mind Ainz joined just bc he likes to role play lmao), as due to the look of it, Renner is thinking she could deceive Albedo but not if Ainz is involved; and once again, the giga chad skeleton makes everything out of nothing.

I swear, the two most tragic figures from the Kingdom are Climb and the King. Climb is such a pure and gentle soul, wanting nothing more than to protect his loved ones and repay his debt to the princess, only for him to end up a caged dog the rest of his days and STILL not realizing he's been duped all this time. And then there's the king. He struck me as a decent sort that wanted to do well by the people of his kingdom and his family but kept getting bogged down by corruption. And let's face it, who ever wants to be the LAST ruler of a kingdom? The one who is sitting on the throne as this kingdom that has stood for centuries falls apart around him and history will probably point to him as a failure for it all. And to put a cherry on top, he's forced to outlive two of his three children and end up murdered by the third. Fate dealt this guy an incredibly cruel hand...

Also, it should be pointed out that Renner's...desires after becoming an Imp are in no way BECAUSE she became an Imp. Demiurge has 10 levels of Imp just like Albedo. You could look at Imp as simply meaning 'Basic Demon', the beginning of the Demon race, with choices made afterwards affecting the type of Demon the Imp evolves into. Considering Renner's yandere-tier lust and love for Climb, I think it's safe to assume she *intends* to evolve into a Succubus, while pushing Climb to evolve into an Incubus. Edit: Actually, it's more than likely she wants to evolve into a Succubus. With the power of Succubi charms, Climb will have no choice but to only look at her.

There are lots of reasons... Besides the obvious safely and "job benefits" is the fact that she never fit in.. "The kingdom" and was living a lie.. where as in Nazarick she fits in perfectly... In her back story which was only 2 pages long in LN and completely skipped in the anime and manga... Basically said she never fit in because she was too smart such that no one understood her... and mistook her insight as the rants and raving of a crazy person.. this in turn lead to depression...isolation and illness (both physical and mental) and she seemed like she might die.........til by chance she found a stray "puppy" and her disposition improved....... Even Raven who was one smartest adults in "the Kingdom" said he didn't really understand the meaning of her words til years later... But in Nazarick there are people she can relate to on her level... Like Albedo who not only is also genius level but a yandere... like herself... Basically it's her ideal home...

Yeah.. the fact that Albedo and Demiurge always fight with their brain, Renner being Genius and is on par with Nazarick’s most devious thinker means someone finally understand her. As of this current situation there is no way Renner would betray Nazarick. Even though the scenario is impossible due to the fact that the Tomb has never been conquered; the more interesting discussion would be ‘will Renner betrays Nazarick if there is a force that significantly over powered Ainz’s.’ Renner will always prefer to swim with the biggest fish but with the level of intelligence that are already presence in the Tomb, as well as the absolute loyalty and restraint from all the residents living in it, can Renner finds the opportunity to betray them at all?

its a bit of a mischaracterization to state that she "prefers to swim with the biggest fish". As renner is not a shallow opportunist. She is a pragmatic strategist. These may look similar at first glance but an opportunist leaves themselves at the mercy of others since they only move to the tune of someone else's drum and. Renner takes advantage of those around her. Yes she has aligned herself with nazerick because they possess the power and means to grant her the only thing she has ever truly desired, but even if an enemy were to appear that threatened it she would risk losing it all with betrayal. She isn't stupid and would be more likely to become a double agent and pretend to betray them only to help ainz win. Since in the end no-one else could possibly guarantee the life Ainz has granted her. She has been granted immortality, power, and station. While being granted the privilege of not only indulging in her fantasy free of judgment but the freedom to drop the mask of the pretty princess while being admired and commended for her true self. This is a dream come true. Her loyalty is sealed

To be able to betray the Tomb anyway, she'd need ALOT of information. Info that is impossible to get in its entireity. Relationships between the guardians and other NPCs, Strengths and Weaknesses, Floor Advantages and shit like that. Basically a whole ass 40 Man Raid prep in any RPG kind of thing. Except she doesn't have the advantage of wiping to get that info because once she dies then she dies. There's just no incentive worthwhile enough to do so.

Most of us know Renner's probably gonna fit right into Nazarick. But what I'm more interested in is how Climb's gonna react. Yeah, he agreed to become a demon with her and she's probably gonna be much more open about her "desires." Will he start to see a clash between his perception of "idealized" Renner vs "true yandere" Renner? Will he delude himself and blame Nazarick for "corrupting" his version of Renner? Will he ever find out that Renner is partly responsible for the fall of his kingdom and the death of his friends? Or will he abandon his preconceptions of "good" and "evil" and choose Renner as his only justice? NOT TO MENTION his reaction to finding out that Sebas was in league with Ainz this whole time. For these two, this seems like the end of their arc. But I do hope we get to see more of them in the future~ like in a "Daily Life in Nazarick" short side story.

No, for me, climb will look into Sebas. He will know that Sebas is ainz subordinate And think that Sebas that he admires as strong person and like to help others will never under submission of a villain/bad person. With this in mind, i think he will think like demiurge that what ainz do is not something that he never understand from the perspective of a Common warrior or the wise intelegent king. The other perspective is that climb is warrior where his kingdom before always constantly on war with other kingdom that basically "kill human to win war". So from this perspective the act of killing that ainz did will be justified because war and kill people always an option to make a peace The think that really important for people who loyal to their kingdom or even common people is " is this kingdom can make my life better and peace?"

Climb only needs to go to E-Rantel to see that actually life under the Sorcerer King is WAY BETTER than it was under the nobles. He will likely be able to justify whatever horrific things he comes across as the cost of progress.

She is greatly interested in the Great Tomb of Nazarick because of its overtly sadistic policies. She can see from the leaders alone that one is allowed to indulge in their fantasies and desires, so long as they obey the whims of Lord Ainz (Momonga.) That, in turn, makes her curious as to who/what Lord Ainz is, and as a person/individual, to command such very powerful beings, varied beings, and permit them such freedom while still keeping them in line. It's possible that, in her eyes, Lord Ainz is probably the pinnacle of her own fantasy when it comes to Climb, since she wants to do some pretty sadistic things with "her puppy".

also you may of forgotten, but in the NW you don't need too increase the basic lvl (job/race) too unlock the higher tier of those class, all you have too do it train/perform the actions befitting those class, with the right mind set. ex; lets say their is a swordsmen ship job class and an advance job called katana in the game you would have to put 15 lvls into swordsmen too unlock the ability too choose the katana class, however in the NW you could just skip the swordsmen class an go straight too katana. the reason why they can do this is because they get the exp by training/doing a fight too the death against someone above ones weight class and somehow winning (growing during the fight).

The discussion so far has talked about Renner never betraying Nazarick with the described status quo. It is very possible that this doesn't take everything into account, & that she may even become more fanatical about protecting Nazarick than the heightened level she decides on at yhe end of volume 14. Her one weakness, reason for being, & ultimate goal is to possess Climb. In our world a relationship like this is almost destined to crumble as soon as a partner like Climb no longer sees their Renner in a loving light. If that happened to Renner, it is not impossible she would turn on those around her... in a world like ours. Up to now she has largely viewed Nazarick from the outside, & is likely not aware of the full capabilities of the completely operational battle station. While a situation or event will probably happen that may change Climb's feelings towards her, there is a serious safety net: how will she feel about Nazarick when she finds out they can alter memories with magic & reset parts of Climb's mind when necessary?

Renner literally has zero reason to ever betray Nazerick: 1, All of her family members are idiots compared to her, making it child's play for her to predict and/or manipulate their every move long before they even think to make it. 2, Despite being a member of the royal family of the Re-Estize Kingdom, she has no desire to rule a kingdom, instead preferring to spend as much time as possible playing with her "puppy". Any work that she has to do either to build up the trust of her "puppy" or to earn her desired reward is merely a means to an end, rather than any altruistic charity work or any favor for a family member. 3, Renner is smart enough to recognize the intelligence of both Demiurge and Albedo, as well as to see the loyalty and devotion in their eyes when they talk about their all-powerful master, the sorcerer king Ains Ooal Gown. For a sociopath like Renner who was always the smartest in the room by leaps and bounds, she should welcome the chance to work with like-minded geniuses such as the denizens of Nazerick. 4, Any chance Renner had of a different life disappeared when the Re-Estize kingdom was violently conquered, since she would at best merely be viewed as the princess of a fallen dynasty, and at worst be seen as a traitor to humanity (if anyone is smart enough to unravel her scheme with hindsight and historical records). 5, By becoming an Imp, Renner is showing her desire to become more in line with the heteromorphic denizens of Nazerick and shed her lesser human form, solidifying her relationship with Nazerick while distancing herself even further from any of the human kingdoms that may have accepted her past human self.

All of your points are very well thought out. However, she has one thing going for her that the others in Nazareth do not that is Free Will. Demiurge is forever locked in a conversation with his own intelligence which he simply imagines is coming from Ainz. Albedo is locked in a Titanic struggle to fulfill a desire that physically can never happen. The princess has none of these limitations, so introduces element of uncertainty that did not exist before. I suspect she's most dangerous by serving Nazerick too well. For example Albedo wants to consummate her relationship with Ainz more than anything else, if Renner turns her intelligence towards making it possible and helps in success then eyes might be brought back to a human being and have his power shattered forever.

I like her name, 「Renner 」in Dutch means runner. Aniway, I've been neglacting this anime 4 quite some time, however, watching the 4 seasons this week, it truly made me think about myself, how I felt when my favorite MMO died and sort of wonder how I would react if I would have the same thing with my main character as in Shiozu [Tera]. Shiozu is a dark elin, classed as the Reaper class, who according to the storyline was searching for her long lost sister, who got lost in the northern continent. tbh, given the same conditions, I would simply become a solo player, not trying to get much attention and venture probably more into the same path as「I've Been Killing Slimes For 300 Years And Maxed Out My Level」, which probably shows why I dislike most if the actions taken.,. but aniway, mostly it's a more or less a good anime, not that great as most people tell it is, srr.^.^"

Only one that i can see betraying them is Sebas. I know they already did the test and he was willing to kill Tuare but his sense of justice might lead him to betray them. Along with being one of the handful max level npcs i could see it. The only reason why im fairly confident he wont is because Ainz as callus as he is for human life, he doesnt seek to kill people for no reason.

That's what ainz is always cautious off and in theory only players from ygdrassil is the onky ones to be considered as a real threat and albedo has a hit squad with PA and Albedo's sister which i forgot the name which is supposedly as strong or stronger than albedo and PA pandora's aftor which is honestly as strong as albedo

@@Mezha07 minor spoiler..? On an alternate timeline/side story, momonga got sent alone to the new world without nazarick and only his staff and current items. He tried to fight brightness dragon lord and ended up on a draw (but not clear whether the dragon already showed every move he got, and if so- momonga stated that he would be able to defeat him next time) So the true dragons might be a tier below nazarick's power but definitely near them

I think I get were your coming from and I agree with many parts, I think when I see people go after some of my opinions, I some times try to over defend myself and end up taking time away from what I could be just talking about said opinions, facts and having fun breaking down the story and chars. Some room for growth still I feel as a content creator. :)
