@@Erin-Thor 🤣 Don't forget to add on the extras: water, propane, gasoline for the truck, dumping fees, camping fees, food, BBQ grill, portable table and chairs, maintenance tools, bug spray, backup generator, first aid kit, etc! We gotta win the lottery to handle all those "needs!"🤣
@HighmageDerin9 ай бұрын
@@Erin-Thor Oh it gets better than that I've been obsessing over these campers for the last week looking into the possibilities and I've decided that if I was to get a truck top camper I need one of those converted flat beds with the side storage boxes. Because as the next guy down in the post says you've got to have your grill, fishing stuff, Maintenance tools a full set possibly two tool sets because you know you always seem to need to have 2 wrenches for everything! Wood cutting tools so that you can collect firewood, A fire pit in case the campground doesn't have one available at your spot or doesn't provide them at all and demand you use them. Extra gasoline because you know generator...... Other miscellaneous camping stuff such as pool/ beach toys, Maybe one of those big inflatable canoes/kayaks. And in my case I definitely have to get one of those front grill mounted bike racks so I could carry something like an ebike with me to ride around the campsite and trails..... Oh yes and let's not forget if you're going to pick something like this up you're probably more into electronics than you are outdoorsing. So you're probably going to want to make use of all that extra solar power to run your computer with a Starlink internet satellite service.... Pro tip for an extra 800 bucks, You can get a solar generator. And plug that sucker into your shore power. Expanding your solar ability with more solar panels Is and a larger battery bank. I'd still carry the gas generator though cause there's always that day where it just does not want to let the Sun through the clouds..... Oh and you're also going to want to Pick up a lot of plastic bins about the size and shape of all the cabinet doors and drawers, Is with snap closed lids. And possibly some form of spongy material or maybe just a bunch of microfiber towels stuffed into free spaces in those bens, Because America's roadways are in various states of disrepair especially at bridge transitions and vehicles like that like to hop in the air when they go across these horrible roads causing a lot of bouncing to go on...... I drive a class B with an air ride and trunion suspension for a living, I get to feel every.... single.... solitary... bump in the road and let me tell you, in some of these cities I have no idea how they even get stuff through them with the roads so bad........

Def need 350 dually, carefully optioned so you have at least 6,200lbs payload (truck camper is 4,400 + add 1,000lb for wet and stuff.

Nothing short of luxury in a truck camper. I could live out of that for extended trips. I don't know that I would ever choose a camper that large and heavy, but if I did I would have the new Cirrus 920 at the very top of a short list! Excellent information on your tour, I didn't know it came with the backup propane. Can the heating run off of the propane if needed? I love the bathroom and the amazing amount of storage throughout. Let's not overlook the fact that this has zero slides. Love the floorplan - kudos to Cirrus. P.S. I'm waiting for that 720 reintroduction ;)

Nice presentation. As mature couple whose extremely experienced with Lance, AF and Northern Lite tc with a 60 lbs retriever seasonal duration rving eastern USA weather, biking, kayaking including having to do thanksgiving dinners and pot lucks as well...many been awaiting CIRRUS in ring. Yes, it's more money, especially needing 1 dually digging into pocket city driving/parking when Lance 810 most features but easier paired w v6 2500 6.5 bed or 3500 single ax... and included 4000 generator. So here's our highs and lows feedback: love the all the drawers and pantry. Love full bath but some minor tweeks needed as put the mirror on inside med cab and use wall to open up drying towels, the hooks should be for umbrellas and wet coats, plus 3/4 mirror opposite on bath door as need to hair and self examine for ticks during all region travel. any kitties/ kids hamsters will love privacy of shower with natural air flow as great but where dog lay and guests require long back bench having center pole 4 way slide table that pushes out of way for dog, instead of visitors butted shoulder to shoulder or routine lounging as inevitable one does as someone sleeps. So speaking, it really needs to switch wardrobe for TV swing in dining/lounging area better. in fact for $80k + just put slide room back on as most needing such a tc is usually of extended vacationing and needs the loung/ dinette multi tasking including office. Love taller oven and large frig and passthrough window for condiments, security view and pet peek out. cut board too large & ends up in way plus sink not long enough to handle meal washing and rinsing task. Love hope chest matress height as can serve as king if add center brace for babies/ pets. But not liking complex matress grate that (like overhead) appears a bugs and dirt entrapment) ie overheads need to seal at ceiling with carpet under bed for ease to vacuum, deter bugs entrapment and thus will store long items such as outdoor table, sleep bags, seasonal decorations. People will purchase own mattress topper so all needed is easy clean barrier under neath with thicker insulation around cap. Also $ 80k needs passcode lock so don't need keys just run to laundry, pool. All else well done, including diamond plate with bumpers except is there passthrough hitch as no one hauling bikes to roof or boats & horse's trailers too. Additionally, awnings need to secure by drop downs back to camper as most important reason for awning is pitched and secured to function inclimate weather needing to exiting self, gear, pet potty during the many rains encountered as far back as roman times. Also needs outdoor TV mount which resolves napping and camp guests too. Love self store, protected awning. Next, Please cover how alleviated delamination in skins because at $80k ( over $100k ++financed) it's expected to be long term invest. These tweeks would make the investment a slam dunk for having to purchase dually. Ps should offer a snap on insulated cold skirt option and storage cover. Again, is there a passthrough hitch to tow bikes, boats, horses, etc? If CIRRUS addresses these items, ( mirrors/towel/TV, slide table for pet, and sealed bedroom cabinets with carpet under mattress, hitch capable for bikes/ horses/ boat) plus snap on cold guard that can be carried on roof...it would be winner to justify price with truck. Wishing CIRRUS 920 well and love the no slide coming close to lance's retired, but fantasic 820 configurations.😉 Ps. How does customers keep pet/toddlers from accidentally pushing out the rolling screen as now doesn't fit aftermarket protectors. Is a reinforcement on its way or please don't tamper with the blue blooded 2 door system.

I'm absolutely certain that nuCamp will be DELIGHTED to spend a quarter of a million dollars to redesign this product just to sell ONE more to you. It's nice but not awesome and definitely not worth 80k. The stereo is in a horrible location. The TV could be mounted from the celing with a swivel. The controls are all in poor locations, causing you to reach, lean or twist to access. The shower is cool but you need straps on the shelfs or they are basically pointless as stuff will fall. You should throw in a Honda generator for free. You can get an entire RV at this price point.
