Hello everyone, I am the son of Desiree who has recently passed away. My mother is the reason of everything I am today. She loved me unconditionally and has shown me the true meaning of life. As you know the sudden expenses and responsibility of services is hard to deal with for anyone. My world has been changed in an instant and I am frozen with excruciating pain but I refuse to not celebrate her life in a way she deserves. I am who I am because of her love and acceptance. My mother was an exceptional sports player (could beat any guy in most sports), gained a master's degree as a single mother (with me in classes by her side) and accepted me from the moment I was born (gay af from age 1) Just last week she told "You grew up to be everything I dreamed you would be, and I could not be more proud" Little does she know I'm not done. With my mothers spirit within me, anything is now possible. I love you all so much for keeping me in your heart at this time. First, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved Mama just before Thanksgiving last November. I’d been taking care of her for thirteen years. She had Dementia. She was so important to me, and now she’s gone. I miss her so much. My sisters and I used to make her promise (like she had any choice in the matter!) that she’d live to 100. She almost did. She made it to 98, a few months short of her 99th birthday. I am praying for you as you grieve your Mama’s passing. I am poor, but when I have more funds I’ll send a little your way. I love Gabriel. He is…well, I don’t have adequate words to explain what he and his Heaven-sent voice mean to me. Tonight, as I lie awake with my usual Insomnia, feeling sad and disappointed in how my life has turned out, I experienced this by Gabriel…and I just cannot keep the floodworks from happening. I’ve just been crying and crying and watching and crying. You get the picture. I grew up believing in Cinderella, and Prince Charming; fairy tale endings and dreams coming true and, of course my real life doesn’t even come close…this song with his gorgeous, impassioned voice singing it, has pierced my heart through and through. He is such an artist, so dedicated to communicating, he’s learned our very challenging language…so humble, he faces possible ridicule for even trying to learn it on his own, with no training; his voice is impeccable, his pitch is stunningly perfect, his passion laced and supported in unbelievable control throughout, just stuns…I am undone by his unmatched vocals and heart. We can watch him and cry together as his heavenly voice heals us.
