I feel like Mega Man 2's soundtrack is quite solid, yet it's held back by the sound limitations of the NES. Case in point, hearing this song with the instruments of Mega Man 7 and actually with a proper bassline really helps this song shine alot more. You'd almost have me convinced that this is a hidden track from Mega Man 7 and I would totally believe you... because man, does this song sound even better now!

Many people would disagree that MM2's soundtrack is held back by anything, given how many call it the best. As for me, the bpm is still too high which makes my head ring, bassline or no bassline, which is why I prefer the Wily Wars version.

Metal man is such a cool robot master, his theme is epic and his design looks cool, his weapon is super powerful. He is the one I always choose to fight first so that way I can get his weapon and easily beat bubble man (even though he’s not really difficult)
