Honestly though Top Man is actually my second favorite Robot Master in the whole series (call me weird why don't ya). He doesn't deserve the amount of hate he gets. I think his design is awesome looking. He has a fun stage, his theme is my second favorite song in the series, I found his boss fight to be fun, and I actually like using his weapon. And NO it doesn't waste weapon energy at random. You obviously suck at using it if you say that. When your not hitting anything, it doesn't waste any energy, when you hit someone or something with it it wastes a small amount. DO NOT USE IT WITH INVINCIBILITY FRAMES. If you do it wastes A LOT of weapon energy. I keep seeing people use it with invincibility frames and that's why they lose so much energy. It's about timing. Otherwise, Top Man is an awesome RM. As for why I like him better than Shadow Man, well one Top Man can kick his ass, two, I like his theme and design better.
