The fare holiday was in effect for the week that has the lowest ridership of the year, the week before Labor Day. Many regular travelers were on vacation.

Great catches, but also what new acela Avelia train tracker do you use, because I can’t even find the new Acela train pass by when I’m at stations, I looked for a app or website that shows where any new acela Avelia trains will pass by any station, but I can’t find it

You cannot track the Amtrak Extras or test trains since they are not passenger revenue trains or they are assigned as a charter. However if you want to see any Amtrak trains like the Northeast Regional or those that are running passenger i recommend these two sources: www.amtrak.com/track-your-train.html or asm.transitdocs.com/
