Ryder was never meant to betray cj in the story originally, they didn't even give him a cutscene. Oh Rockstar

@@SnartCaptaincold52 it's true that Ryder was supposed to stay loyal to the Grove though. There were issues with Ryder's VA and how much he was paid. Since they didn't have the VA anymore they needed to find a way to remove him or kill him off in the story. You can tell how in the betrayal cutscenes only smoke is mentioned and once Ryder dies no one ever mentions him again. Check around KZbin someone did a decent job documenting that stuff.

It's a damn shame Ryder's VA and Rockstar couldn't work things out, resulting in the character being written out in such an unfinished way. Ryder remaining an ally would have made the story alot better, in my opinion. And something tells me him and The Truth would've ended up being best of friends lol.

@@proto245 Ryder's VA felt that he was underpaid and left mid-development. This resulted in his character being written out of his original arc, which was him staying an ally and helping CJ. Instead, he's made a villain and is killed off. Notice that he has almost no lines during and after The Green Sabre, and what little he does, is recycled.

@@enesbatuhan7833 Wow, what a shitty opinion. I know its your opinion but it is inaccurate as this is a good mod. So far throughout the gameplay, I've seen little glitches. If you count 3:12 as a glitch although they could've granted Ceasar immortality. Just like in the original game they temporarily granted Ryder the ability to swim without drowning when getting to the boat.

Whilst I think the graphics and textures on this mod look extremely good. San Andreas originally had a pretty poor draw distance which I think helped make the game world feel bigger. Where as the huge draw distance on this mod kinda makes the world feel smaller and more compact. The fact you’re now able to see Tierra Robada or whatever it was called from San Fierro and even further you can see “The Big Ear” dish in the distance.

Guy Named Adriel they still ran the grove street families after sweets imprisonment and CJs exile. I just wish that the grove street homies didn’t disappear after green Sabre (not counting the ones that act as big smokes yay couriers) I think it would have been cool if after your exile if you set foot in LS you’d get a wanted lvl and if you went to grove street the grove street members would be working w/ the Ballas and would attack you.

Some suggestions: Dont replace peds and vehicles, just find HD replacements for the originals. HD weapons and sounds HD map doesnt suit for the radar, use the mobile radar export since its at higher quality. Try to add mods like GTA IV weapon switching animation GTA V cover mod 👌

My guess is that besides contract difficulties, Ryder just wasn't planned to go further than Los Santos, so Rockstar improvised in the worst way. His dialogue showed that he was extremely loyal to the Grove Street Families. He could of died during the Ballas trap (which gives CJ more reason to spite Big Smoke and Tenpenny).

Darth Jaulce Ryder was one of the closest friends of CJ, very loyal to the Grove, but suddenly he becomes a traitor out of nowhere. His voice actor MC Eiht was too busy back in 2004 to work more with Rockstar so they completely removed his character from the game after the Los Santos missions
