- Break down your vision into goals (long-term, mid-term, short-term) and further into daily tasks.
- Success is measured by you achieving the goals that you set, not necessarily material possessions, riches, or wealth.
- Divide your goals into groups (spiritual, family, financial, fitness, relationship, career, etc.)
- Set priorities of the most important tasks/goals and tackle them first.
The Importance of Vision 👀
- Vision provides hope 🙏
Example: The vision/dream that God gave Joseph/The promise that God gave to Abraham (Romans 4:18)
- Vision keeps you focused.
- Vision will preserve you.
- Where there is vision, there is government.
Biblical Keys 🔑 for Goal Setting (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
- Take alone time to set goals. Go to a quiet place, seek solitude to avoid distractions (2 Peter 1:3-4, God spoke to Moses when he separated himself and went to the burning bush).
- Write it down and make it plain ✍.
Quote: The faintest ink 🖊 is greater than the strongest memory 🧠
- Make sure your goals align to the will of God (Psalms 127:1).
- Count the Cost (Luke 14:28-29).
- Be diligent/commited/work hard (Proverbs 21:5).
- Be patient (2 Chronicles 15:7).
- Have faith (Proverbs 3:5).
