Thanks for the run through! Nice to see this game in action (especially with the funky alien music in the background for ambiance :). It seemed easy at first and didn’t expect that escalation. Just FYI, but it looks like you reused a conflict card at 19:46 - for fun, I was trying to figure out what effect it might have had on the end game: before the conflict shuffle, you would have not lost 1 hp, but would have taken one more damage (so a wash). Assuming you shuffled exactly the same way, the final alien would have done 1 dmg instead of 3 in the initial round. You would have likely had one more draw in combat with 4 hp left. What do others think? It’s engrossing to think what the possibilities were...:P

Seems like the basis for an interesting game, but the fact that the levels are pretty indistinguishable from each other and is just a way to have the oxygen clock count down seems like a missed opportunity. I feel like MiniRogue does everything this game does, but in a much tighter presentation, though I do like the way Desolate's ammo mechanic works much better as it gives the player much more agency in combat.

MadLadDesign, If I buy Desolate PnP, can I just print it two-sided and cut? Or I need some additional editing to print it two-sided properly?
