Save even more by using HP instant ink. A 100 page/month plan is $6/month. So you would've spent $150 for a printer and $144 on ink over 2 years.

If you go over HP pops you with per page charges and it is annoying receiving those cartrdiges in the mail all the time they pile up sometimes and they only work in the printer you have registered with them. I tried that program and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I recommend the least amount of subcription plans in your life as possible because they are like a leak of your money every month and some companies can be a pain to cancel the subscriptions. Also you are only comparing to his first two years and not the over 5k in pages he estimates to be able to print with the remaining ink he has left.
