What you can do is take some painters tape or masking tape and tape it around the front of the shoe then take a marker or pencil and Trace around the part where the image is going to go on the shoe then take that trace it on a piece of paper scan it onto your whatever machine you're using and then place your image inside of that line it up inside of that process but it's worth it then you'll know how much exactly you need

Not really, I didn't keep the heat gun in one spot too long and I kept the temperature on low.

What type of sealing spray did you use? Would Mod podge work? This was a great idea I am going to try them on some knock off crocs in case I mess up I didn't waste $50

she used krylon crystal clear acrylic spray. You can use any clear acrylic spray tho, I've been using them to seal htv that I use on shirts and shoes alike. Normally holds up well. Ensure the ink is dried properly

I uploaded the template into design space.... used the slice option with a circle shape to take off the parts of the shoe I didn't want. Used contour to remove the holes. It was trial and error to get the size I wanted. I used 5.6 x 5.9 for this kid shoe. Hope this helps.
