you should specify that these are only steps to one type of printer. I have hp deskjet 3700 series and the steps are not the same once you choose the printer type.

This doesn't work for me. Why does everyone assume that the issue is a clogged print head? My printer has ink and will print the test page just fine. Anything sent by the computer does not print any more. It used to. Now it just spits out a blank page very rapidly. The print heads don't even budge.

I have a ho deskjet printer i already clean the cartridges and the circuit of the cartridge is already clean i thought it was a simple clogged of dried up ink on the nozzles but i did a test print on it, yeah it prints but its only smudges please help
