maaan this is a game changer for event printing. a simple 1 arm, 1 station press and you can putt out multi color prints and also easy switching !

That's the thought, very versatile! Put this press to work how YOU need it to. Thanks for watching Tristano!

I can see this being useful in a live printing situation where you need a few screens for 1 color designs on light and dark garments. With the right table/rack set up it would cut down on some space that you would need rather than hauling out a rotary style press. As long as those clamps hold the registration though.
@darrylsapp12836 ай бұрын
I totally agree! But yea they totally hold! Color me impressed!

If you had a bunch of these presses lined up it could work a lot like the line table printing they do in other countries. An interesting way to knock out a larger run.

Hey Josh! Thanks for the watch!! You definitely see that commonly in other parts of the world, would love to see someone get a process like that going.

For a short run of shirts someone could do some amazing prints. That's Bad A$$ Dude!!! Rock On.
@Ryonet6 ай бұрын
Yea, we don't really see this level of complex print for everyday production on this press, BUT you could definitely make some amazing complex prints for short runs relatively easy with a minimum set-up. Really wanted to make this press all about options and versatility for small set-ups! Thanks for feedback!

Hey serious question if you can which machine are you using would I be able too get the same progress using an vevor single press, would appreciate knowing which machine you got seems too line up easy for you
@Ryonet3 ай бұрын
Serious response! This is the press we're using scrnprntl.ink/YT8Color and simply no, the vevor is not going to have this ability.

Can you use 20x24 inches frame?
@darrylsapp12836 ай бұрын
So it is not recommended but I just put one on the press and it held no problem - that said you will either need to burn the image lower on the screen or buy a larger platen.
@Ryonet6 ай бұрын
Like Darryl said, it's set up for a smaller screen but it's possible to make a 20x24 work for you with the right design/placement.

Off contact, pallet glue list goes on. Each screen needs it's own detachable head. What's one of them cost? Would love to see 4 color process really test your patience that would.

Challenge accepted - Send me your most complex CMYK design and I will happily put the press to the test.

Will you be angling the screens at different angles or using a program? Anything realistic, close up of a human eye. Eye color has to be blue.

Is the chameleon press by m&r patented? Can you guys somehow make it possible to make an additional 2nd tier to existing presses. I would pay money for that since for manual printers space is the biggest issue.
@Ryonet6 ай бұрын
We can look into it!!
@ThePingy276 ай бұрын
@@Ryonet from someone who has owned 3 Riley presses in the past 4 years, i know its something every owner would want. The small footprint of your presses is the main reason I know a lot of people buy one for. I bought a Riley 250 8 color last November and the main reason was because I could fit it in a 2 car garage and still be able to park my car in. Couldn’t do that with any other 8 color press that’s for sure. Please do look into it!

If you only have on screen there is really no way to register all your registration marks correct?
@Ryonet5 ай бұрын
@jomathews4842 Just to clarify: you are looking to do a multi color print with just one screen? It would be way easier to have multiple screens and when using the this press multiple clamp heads would be best.
@kl6639Ай бұрын
I am buying a 4 stage press tonight and should have it tomorrow. I think I may have to find someone local that knows how to make screens and set it up so I am successful. I am only looking to make my own shirts and my karate instructors shirts his has multiple colors and I have no clue how to make the screens with each color staged I am in Phoenix Arizona if anyone is near and know how to help

Any off contact adjustments or is it auto? Or would k need to tape some quarters on the bottom of the screen? Hahaha
@Ryonet5 ай бұрын
@CamCadie There is a jam nut that you can adjust to raise and lower off contact - its one that you set and forget
@CamCadie5 ай бұрын
@@Ryonetwhat’s your experience with the registration on this press? Have you accidentally knocked the screen slightly out of place whenever switching the detachable clamps to your next colors? Or is it tight and dead accurate when switching in and out?
@Motorizedmadness6 ай бұрын
This gives the false illusion that anyone with little to no experience can achieve this, highly unlikely. A whole lot more involved wasn't even mentioned ie screen/artwork placement, ink additives used for a softer print, screen setup setup/
@darrylsapp12836 ай бұрын
To eliminate any illusion. I clearly state that this is insane and I do not recommend doing this for production. I just wanted to push the capabilities of the press and show what is possible. Screen setup is no different than what we teach in our online class. The artwork was set up with a .5-point stroke on the colors except white and black. Screens: 158 mesh for white, grey, and red, and 200 mesh was used for the rest. No additives were used. Inks are bolt white, Rio PMS colors, and FN Bright red. If you have any questions on how I achieved this call me - (360) 356-7532

Your flash time is all over the place...so I don't see shirt passing a wash test..... And do a measly 20ty shirts like this .doing 1 shirt doesn't show the struggle most would have..... I see why transfers are taking over and dtf ,dtg is taking over... The Asian do screen printing like this..but have a better system of being able of doing 100 shirts this way super easy....
@Ryonet6 ай бұрын
Hey there, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We totally get where you're coming from. Testing with just a few shirts is just starting point to show that this press isn't your average starter press. Regarding the flash time, you've got a sharp eye! Consistency is key for a successful wash test. As for transfers and DTG gaining traction, they definitely offer convenience and versatility, especially for complex designs or short runs. Screen printing, though, has its charm and unbeatable quality for certain jobs and volumes. Every method has its pros and cons, and it’s all about finding the right tool for the job. We appreciate your input and are all about pushing the boundaries and learning more every day! Keep the feedback coming, it helps us all improve!
@darrylsapp12836 ай бұрын
oh I know, that said they are flash times, not curing each color, and with the different sizes of area for each color flash times will differ. The key is making sure the correct time and temp are used after printing to fully cure. Again I do not recommend this many colors on this press for production. Just show casing what is possible.
