Prioritizing Faithfulness

Often, we get swept up in the busyness of life and become fixated on the end result. But what happens when things fall through? This weekend, I was reminded that God recognizes faithfulness. a thing I forgot to mention in the video is 1 Kings 8 17-21 which was my devotions today. The Lord was pleased that it was on David's heart to build the house of the Lord. Still, God said that he would not build it but his son Solomon would. Even though he was not to build the house of the Lord, David made provisions for it and God honored that. We each have a calling and all we can do is be faithful in our work, even if the end result is not as we would have it.
