Claiming up stairs in block of flats in Pripyat for the first time after 30 years and finding my home in a shocking state after it was left back in April 1986.
Ghost town Pripyat based less than 2 km away from Chernobyl's Nuclear Power Plant
All surrounding areas called an exclusion zone..
Thanks to everyone involved for making this trip possible!

It was very bad for vandals to destroy and steal everything that was left. A disrespect for the memory of many families who were forced to leave their homes.

Man this makes me sad, imagine you wake up at 2 am in 1986 to hear 10 ambulances and police cars rush to the power plant, you see fire, then you turn on your TV, and hear the nuclear power plant has been exploded and a high dose of radiation has been set free in to the air, and you need to evacuate immediately out of Pripyat... and you come back 30 years later and remember all of this.

It was different, as nothing been said whats going on.. evacuation begun only on the following day, so it was around 36 hours after the explosion..

What's almost even worse is seeing how the aptms have been stripped and broken by retards. If windows, rooftops, doors were being kept close, this would be another picture even today. So sad and disrespectful.

Unfortunately there are many stalkers living in Pripyat, plus the marauders who take everything for scrap. The city has been stripped of cooper wire, motors and all kinds of things by marauders. Some Stalkers are trying to repair some homes but they are there illegally and can be fined.

Why?! This is a death zone for many generations to come....Nobody will ever live there-in 50 years all the houses will crumble and the rest will be overgrown by nature! 85% of the nuclear fuel was exposed due to the explosion 💥 -and not 85% is still in the sarcophagus as the communists claimed back then....🤔 It’s an example of human stupidity, they covered it up to get their 🎖 medals-how sick is that?! All the innocent firemen and thousands of liquidators who gave their lives.... So many heroes among them, barely someone knows their names! And did they learn from it?! Fukushima answers that question....😩 To this day and for many generations to come babies will be born crippled-i don’t know why they got pregnant anyway, all those women who knew they had been exposed to these ridiculous high doses of radiation. Today they say it’s relatively safe because they took away the upper layers of earth, just to bury it in the surrounding forests. With the wildfires in the last years - red forest burned down-again the particles were set free and sailed away in big ☁️ clouds! This epic catastrophe did so much damage to all the families and generations to come-and nobody was ever punished for the lies, the coverup or the accident itself.....😩 Even we in Europe got our dose because the wind 💨 blew that shit right towards us-in Sweden they detected the radioactive clouds first, but at that time nobody knew at what scale that was,and the weather was fine in late April ,everybody was outside after a cold winter! So many people from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Belarus 🇧🇾 and the surrounding Europe have cancer because of this . Made me very sad to see this man coming back to his old flat ,living through this horror once again-at least i hope that his health is probably good. If they gave iodine to all the people right away and forced them to stay indoors before they were evacuated the harm could have been prevented, but instead people climbed up the roofs to sunbathe and looked what happened to the reactor, when the rooftops had been the most contaminated areas.....☢️☠️☢️💀☢️☠️☢️💀☢️☠️☢️💀

I assume it was corrupt management and goods sold on or scrapped for metal.. We will never know how it was in reality, but facts are that all flats are empty.. just some items left...
