God has such a way of showing me that he understands. Some of the most common and effective tools the enemy uses against me are the the ones that make me feel like I am, and what I am doing is inadequate. I so often leave my prayer time thinking I could have done more or I could have done something better. If I give God my commute to work, I feel him using guilt to make me think I didn't give God my best because maybe I should have gotten up at 4 am to spend time with him but all I did was pray in the car or listen to a sermon or listen to praise and worship music. He is always there to make me feel less than. But my God just validated me through this word. Thank you for this, because now I know that it is enough, and God just showed me how to press even deeper into his word.

I’m in a group called “Lectio Divina” which is just what you’re saying and Yes it’s amazing how Holy Spirit speaks to each of us in the group which He wants us individually to hear! I love this time and now I find myself doing it every day with just Jesus and me.

❤ the part where you say about obeying God’s commands orders or when He talks to us really came at a perfect moment. Yesterday I failed to do that. He had given me a message for our men in our small congregation. Something to share with them during our Christmas celebration and I didn’t do it. I prepared what I thought was part of it but I didn’t follow through. But God is righteous and knows what we will do or not do. My brother in law who is our pastor had a small message for us and it was pretty much the same as what God had put in my heart. So afterwards I felt the guilt and disappointment that I failed doing God’s will sharing what He had put in my heart. I thank God he put your sermon this sermon for me to hear today. A huge lesson learned. God bless ❤
