Amazing kite! I love the water relaunch ability. I once had a little 1.2m foil go in the water and the undertow sucked it out towards the deeper water and I thought I had lost it! It was an aweful feeling then had to empty it of all the sand, ugh.

that is new the reverse. Dual string foil kites don't go in reverse. other times it walk down to the kite set it up to fly again ...handy trick it be good if you shown what your doing there to make it reverse .

Not crazy about any kite that seems stronger than me; dragging me down the beach.

That the best part 😏 it drags you. And doesn’t stop

I traded my 4.0 for a 3.5, the ride is much smoother when it just picks you up and carries you a distance.

If it's not trying to drag you it's not worth flying! Feeling and fighting the power of the wind is fun and a good workout!

So just fly with a tether. Or just do single line. I'm not really into stunt kite stuff.

Bought my first dual line cell last summer, a Symphony 1.8 Been thinking I'm ready for a bigger one. A 3.5 is a bit big for where I fly (narrow beach on Oregon coast) but I might try the 2.5. Anyone have any input on whether I should bump up to a quad string? They look tricky.
@WorldsGreatestKiting
@WorldsGreatestKiting 5 жыл бұрын
A quad line will give you a lot more control, which can be especially useful when flying in small areas or narrow beaches. A few hours on a quad-line, you'll understand its not as complicated as one may assume.

What do you think about hq 1.8 for fist kite, and do you think that 1.3 is too small for adult?
@2112Nightshift
@2112Nightshift 4 жыл бұрын
@@milangacic4043 The 1.8 is probably a good choice for a first kite. It doesn't have too much pull, which can be intimidating to new flyers. It is fast enough to be fun making the loops and figures. It's funny you mention the 1.3, I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago. I have not been able to fly it yet due to the stay at home order. I assume it'll be even faster than the 1.8 but no, it is not too small for an adult. Smaller equals speed, larger equals pull. I did end up getting the 2.5 (haven't gotten a quad yet, they're spendy) at it is a blast! SO much pull! Get back to me after you've made you selection, I'd really be interested to hear about it.

@@2112Nightshift Wow ty for fast reply. I have some shoulder problems and was afraid that 1.8 will give me some discomfort, but glad that you mentoin that it's not too strong for novice. I just want to use it lightly for fun, and do some tricks. In my country stay at home order ended today, hope soon for other countries as well.

Not just for kite surfing my friend! Power kites can be used with buggys, land boards, snow boards, skate boards, whatever wheeled or water driven mechanism you could make, try or get creative with. This particular kite is a great entry level kite with the capabilities of accomplishing all of the above mentioned adventures.
