Gr8 tut! quick question, how does the sub widget you added to the main screen look to the viewer? is it a sub link they see and when they click it, it triggers the widget to say "Anna Smith just Subbed"? or is it widget invisible on the main screen BUT if anyone happens to sub while you are live streaming it automatically triggers the widget and their name pops up. And if this is the case would you recommend always having the sub widget active whenever you go live this way you can always get a notification when someone subs and they also see their names on the live feed?

100% the latter. Anytime someone subscribes, the alert will be triggered. You can also have it trigger by donations, super chats, new members, etc.

The On Device option will access your loaded music in your Music app. On iOS, that's literally synced music from your old iTunes (or Music on Mac) media player. Android will generally access any music you have loaded in your phone,

Go to wherever your Alert box is set up (Streamlabs, Stream Elements, etc) and make sure to use an audio file compatible with more devices, like MP3 or WAV. OGG does not work on all devices. That would be my first port of call. I have not used the PC version of Prism, it might be something else as well.

The widget layout itself is created and tweaked over on Streamlabs.com. Do all that over there before adding it to Prism.. It's added to Prism like I showed in the this video.

This is suuuper helpful, thank you! I am running into one issue though: the widget only seems to catch the very first person to tip/sub/etc but nobody after. The first alert appears like it should but the later ones do not. Have you run into this? Any guesses on how to fix this?

That could be on Streamlabs (or whatever alerts site you're using) end. I find the Streamlabs ones can be spotty, and sometimes I'll open up the website to refresh things. Have not found a rock solid fix though.

You could if you could code said widgets. Stream Elements lets you design up an entire page with multiple elements, obviously based on what they have available. I'm sure a clock is doable.

What that could be is if you're using something like Streamlabs alerts, the default alerts are .ogg files, which don't play on some phones. You may have to go into your alert settings and use .mp3 format sounds.

Great question, I have not tested it with a Facebook page. I guessing its possible because Streamlabs can be linked to a Facebook (and selected pages) and appears to pull in those interactions.

On the mobile app, no you cannot. If you're using Prism on desktop, yes you can.

@@CharlezRichard I didn't have an answer for you initially, but you could try CameraFi Live as an option. I was just able to plug in my live streaming DLSR camera into my Android via a Camlink and a USB 3 to USB C adaptor. The frame rate appears a little choppy for me. Prism does have limited UVC handling, but for some reason, it's not implemented on my Android 10 phone. CameraFi Live seems to be able to though.

great thanks, also i ended finding camerafi live and it seems like a worthy contender but i can't get the audio worked out. if i use a source from a capture card i can't hear the the audio from it, and if i just capture the devices screen, i can hear the audio, but won't get internal audio in the stream, so then the audio will sound like crap

Really its limited by the processing capability of the devices. You won't find anything as customisable as OBS on mobile right now. Some apps like Prism do push the boundaries.
