I'm from Detroit...This Man is a legend with his integrity and his character as a human being...God Bless 🙌 and continue to stay blessed. If you'd look at him and I standing next to each other, you'd think I would be holding the Harvard Degree and not him. I got a degree in the streets of Detroit and Cleveland Ohio and wasted 15 years of my life incarcerated not even knowing my own children who were babies when I left. I guess you can't judge by it's cover and this man is an asset within the community showing different ways to maneuver throughout a city that's dangerous as Detroit, it's so easy getting caught up as a kid in those streets when you come from a home where Dad's shooting Mom and your Cousins move in with you and Granny because Dad got killed by Momma's pistol...Life's a trip Cabrone. I don't know how I managed to jump off of that ride without causing myself permanent damage physically and mental, all the pain that is inflicted upon family, it's horrible and I'm beyond thankful 🙏 for everyday I wake up and get another opportunity to do the right thing. A person only recieves one opportunity at this thing called life, and if mistakes were made in the past own them accept them and learn from thos mistakes. I had people do everything possible to try and get me on the right track. I changed only when I was completely broken and was ready to make that change. I have been clean and sober since October 27th 2015 and this wasn't supposed to be a pity party comment. I was all over the place with my response the video was a nice piece. I stumbled upon your channel earlier today after watching an interesting video involving Midwest Musician Jim Root of Slipknot fame and noticing how laid-back he was and how well you were at conducting the interview, I I started down the rabbit hole and followed that one up with the sweet late 70s Chevy Van converted into a 4x wheel drive standup camper Van. You had to love that considering the 1,200 miles you put on it, in 3 months or so. I dig the cintent.

Hey Randy! So glad you’re getting it out there! As a brother of color I was blessed with some really down people when I was 18 to hire me @ Honda of Norfolk down here on the coast of Virginia! I was only professional black motorcycle mechanic in this entire area! I later learned after wrenching for a while there were quite a few brilliant mechanics of color wrenching on sleds in their garages or “living rooms “! Like you said when you hear the calling you have to go for it & let nothing stop you! That led to a sponsored motocross ride with Honda of Norfolk for two glorious years! We would hit the tracks in the Virginia,North Carolina,Maryland & West Virginia areas & at first I was like an anomaly but like you mentioned when everyone sees the passion & love for the sport the color thing disappears & common bonds are shared! All of this was happening from 1973 to 1975. WOW what a ride Randy! I’m retired now & still ride my old Shovelhead! Keep it spinning brother, you make me proud!!!
