I just finished grouting my new shower walls and floor. Beautiful finish, not too grainy, good color tone, and impressive adhesive. It dries quickly, so you need to work fast, really fast. In my case, I like to mix small amounts, one bag at a time, again, at a fast tempo. Any of their videos posted , you’ll observe how fast the person applying it is moving. Is all on the applying technique.

No it is not. Within one year I have had to repair the hugh cracks using this grout. I paid over $17,000 for my shower remodel. I am going to have to remove all the grout and use a different product this time!.

@@gloriaechevarria303 With cementing, the installer has to make a peanut butter consistency. If it's laid too dry, it'll crack and shrink. It's no different than baking a cake and the moisture in the flour will affect the end result. Prism is a top rated product and turned out fine in my bathroom. I had good tile installers though. You could go with an Epoxy grout that's really hard and won't crack, but for that application you better have an installer that REALLY KNOWS what they're doing with it b/c it sets quickly and can be a disaster in the wrong hands. Personally check out the installers previous work with such grout. It's too important not to and these guys lie to you just to get the job!.....BTW, you could DIY the patches yourself (I'm sure not all your tile is cracked--just maybe a patch where your installer has drier product on application). It's not hard (like cake batter). Buy the tools (floater, bucket, grout off tool, sponge, etc for cheap) and do "dentistry work" where it's cracked. There's tons of vids on KZbin. You'll save tons of money this way! The grout off metal tool takes out the cracked grout in no time, then just paste over.

I used this grout in charcoal and its terrible. The color bleeds out. Had to remove grout an install a different brand. What a nightmare!

be very careful If they leave it for more than 15-20 minutes on chromed parts, it will stain them and dry very quickly. not recommended.

I paid over $17,000 to remodel my bathroom and the contractor used Prism Ultimate cement grout and it has been awful!! Its not even one year since they installed my shower marble floor tile using this awful product and it has cracked twice. It has hugh cracks along the shower floor!! I am going to have to replace the grout with something better. Its expensive. Don't use it!!!

its not the grout, this kind of cracking is from mixing too much water in it. Mixxing alot of water is really tempting because it makes it so easy to apply and sweep across the floor and just have the grout fall into the cracks but it means when it dries and cures, its gunna be weaker.
