Prismatic Evolution release day craziness. Price tank....for now.

I was a very lucky non-Pokémon guy who walked into Target at a random time yesterday looking for WNBA Select blasters (they had none) but happened to be there at the exact time that these Prismatic boxes were getting stocked. I got 8 Binder Collections, 2 ETB’s, and 5 Tech Sticker collection packs all at retail -5% thanks to my Target Red Card. I’ve never hit a Bowman restock in 4 years, but of course I hit a Pokémon in-store drop. I was told that customers were there 4 hours earlier in droves, but the stock hadn’t appeared yet.

My lcs had etb's for $120 I passed, they still had them in stock the next day.

I feel honored that I have a similar mindset as Neo when it came to my recent purchases. I bought a sealed case of binders a couple nights ago and bought 2 PC ETB's for 450 otd. Wanted a case but someone bought the one I was trying to work a deal on and haven't found one at the price I want. That's it from this set so far. Struck out with retail but didn't go too crazy. These guys around here are dedicated lol. Happy you scored some at a decent price. 🤙

The Binder collections are the way to go because of the binder alone. I was fortunate to find mine in the wild on Wednesday, yes she stocked early and got some. This will be the product where bulk buying will be huge because master setting builders are going to buy singles.

I was able to snag 3 Etb’s off of target’s website early Friday morning, then I was able to walk into a Walmart & Snag an ETB & a binder….There was only about 5 of us waiting at the WM & everything was calm and cordial & all of us walked away with something….Im taking all of my PE & throwing it in the closet & forgetting about until about the year 2028 or so Lol

I got 2 pokemon Center exclusive ETB’s & those prices appear to remain inflated, along with the sealed Eevee promo. My son & I ripped them & did pretty good. The pokeball parallels seems to be selling for stupid prices for what they are.

Pokémon will reprint BUT that will not hit the market for a month or 2. When it hits it will be a rinse and repeat. There will not be full shelves of PE for a long time.

@ at least admit saying any cards will ever “go to zero” is just ridiculous. KZbinrs, who use these kinds of headlines do it selfishly to get clicks, and they obviously just don’t care that that constant programming does harm to the psyche of the hobby.

Pokemon has already confirmed that they will reprint the PC ETBs, amongst other SKUs for the next 6-9 months
