Imagine being the CEO of the company that managed to get Walker on board. Such passion for the product and its uses

That's kind of you to say! My passion is genuine 😊 and I am just as lucky to be with a company that makes instruments I can get so passionate about. - W

the technical description of waveforms and their harmonics then applying it to subtractive and additive synthesis goes far beyond a demo just for the XPO but is a master class in synthesis itself. Well done Walker.

I got my hands on the XPO on Monday. And it can be a relatively simple oscillator. But with all the outputs it is begging for exploration and it is super easy to get this thing really chaotic. Seems so simple, but mixing in one of the un-modulated mono inputs to ground things is something i didn't think of. Thank you! Spike wave to modulate QPAS frequency is also GOLD. I encourage everyone to give that a try, which i have already, since i've devoured every video on the XPO and have seen Walker mention this already. Thank you for the wonderful oscillator and for the wonderful content you always put out!

If the XPO is the prism, than the QPAS is the cloud hah! Understanding the similarities between light waves and sound waves is such a fascinating concept. The visual space is so familiar to us and serves as the perfect reference for understanding the audio space. My brains on fire! Awesome video, thank you!

I was thinking about the Joranalogue Generate 3 as my next oscillator, but the last unit sold out in my local market one day before I was ready to buy. So, I put money towards other things instead, and scored both a Q-Pas and X-Pan in the last 2 months. Now I'm again ready to get a new oscillator, and I realize that I really want the XPO. 11 outputs? That's up there with the Rubicon. The thought of being able to use all those outputs to modulate things like my Z-DSP clock rate , excite inputs on Elements or Rings or Streams, select gates on the Select 2, or whatever, all at the same time, from one unit, so everything will work harmoniously... And the XPO will work seamlessly with the stereo capabilities of Q-Pas and X-Pan, with maybe a few Batumi phased lfo's shifting everything around... And the mad weird noises that come out when the sub out is modulated, or used to control other modules... My god. Ordering this coming payday.

@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Scored it! I just made a deal on an XPO ast night, and I got an Intellijel Dixie 2+ a couple of weeks ago. Dixie will work as a fulltime audio rate modulator, feeding into Xpo and Zdsp clock and whatever else, while Xpo runs through Qpas and Xpan and Zdsp, probably with Beads/Elements/Rings, and 0-Ctrl + Tetrapad/Tete for sequencing and control. I've watched a few videos on the Xpo and heard some truly crazy sounds come out of it - Can't wait until it arrives next week!

I think of the Ramp wave as a timer for the other shapes and the pulse wave as an on/off switch that occurs somewhere alone the timeline of the ramp cycle.

Walker , Make Noise you must be on same Telepathic wavelengths as Brian ENO who has just done a Lecture on 3 Dimensional overlapping Reverbs , panning of Space which you mention Q-Pas sweeps does similar to ENOs multi Verb spectrums, will get XPO eventually as I have your other main modules, must admit I’ve never got Maths This Episode has been Enlightening Walker, EXCELLENTI 👽🌀👁🇬🇧🕸⚡️🔱🌈🆒🎶🎶🎶🌟🌟🌟

2 Maths?? Seems like too few and way too many other modules... 🤣 joking aside i'm really excited to see what your new Shared System/Microsound machine layouts will be with the XPO. My case is about the same as yours but with pressure points and function instead of an extra Maths. Need to try some S+H with XPO modulations
@geraldgoodiii69932 жыл бұрын
Nah man System needs function generators I added a Function next to the maths in my shared system. Woulda loved 2 maths but couldn’t get it to fit in a layout I liked
