okay adding on to this because I've been quarantined for a bit and needed SOMETHING to take my mind off things There _was_ an actual maniac called Prismo, but due to a great tragedy in the detective's life he snapped, when he ended up finding the clown in that damn hall of mirrors he issued his own kind of justice. The force couldn't _prove_ he did it but due to his general instability they put him on leave for a bit and he started taking medication. And within a week of rejoining the force...'Prismo' is back The detective, at this point, can't even remember what he did so he's taking this dead seriously. He spends days, maybe even months trying to find Prismo as the body count kept getting higher. Until one day, the detective starts noticing some things. Face paint in his apartment even though he lives alone. He's been humming a bit of fairground music whenever he thinks he's alone...and for some reason, he can't bring himself to open the closet so he's just been wearing the same shirt for a while What's in the closet, you ask? Why one vanity mirror, a full set of face paint and one clown suit.

Prismo is, if not, one of the deepest characters in literature. Being able to trap the detective and hide behind 10 layers of characters is but an impressive feat, but not only that, we can assume that the detective is actually the master detective Sherlock Holmes, who after chasing Moriarty for about 3 years, needed a change of pace in terms of target, enter _Prismo_ , the clown who managed to entrap about 4 separate detectives in the house of mirrors in 4 separate occasions. Prismo’s psyche is too complex for human understanding, at moment one, he can be a conniving clown, then he could be having a midlife crisis, then shatter and become the complex sociopath he is Truly, an impressive character
