It's hard to accept that you grow your children with discipline, respect and love to have some animals take advantage of them. I went to my daughter's school some years back to confront a bully who was picking on her. My daughters mother asked me to handle the situation because she was too upset and feared that she would get herself in trouble. After having a discussion with the other child outlining how much I loved my daughter and how far I would go to protect her, the bullying stopped. Children are sometimes a product of their environment and often model what they see at home and in society. Parents get hold of your children before things get out of hand.

The Government does not want to make unpopular decisions! I agree with you Maverick💯!
@rorypowell6641Ай бұрын
Yeah, but who is the government? One of our problems is that we do not have a good understanding of government. The people in the legislative, executive, and judiciary are not the government, but merely government representatives. The problem is and has always been that the true government, which is the Jamaican people has never hold their representatives to account for anything. So, in short, everything that happens in Jamaica is because the masses allow then to happen.
@OtherCrazyCritters-nn2utАй бұрын
Unpopular to who though? Certainly not to the average Jamaicans. I think the influence of overseas meddlers are at play here. If Jamaica started putting the death penalty into practice again watch all dem human rights groups start running dem mouths.

Those who tell you that death penalty is not a deterrent, simply turn around asked them if life in prison is a deterrent. As you correctly pointed out, Jamaica has not applied the death penalty in decades, yet murders and violent crimes are out of control. The murder rate is higher than when we were applying the death penalty.

Exposure to hardened criminals runs the risk of making him even harder. I suggest accountability for the smallest of infractions, a continuous Behavior Assessment and Intervention program in each school and Community.
