My sister and I were left alone at 13 and 10. But I started babysitting at 12. This was in 1975. But nowadays nobody lets a twelve year old care for a child. My parents did go barhopping one Saturday night when I was thirteen and I was in charge of my ten year old sister and two other little girls age ten and seven. They didn't come back home until 2 AM. I was scared and the older little girl was crying because she thought her parents weren't coming back. Now I do remember another couple my parents liked and we used to go there all the time. These people would go off at five and six in the morning and leave the four children two girls 12 and 11 and two little boys six and one and go out to eat breakfast. Anything could have happened to them, the house could have caught on fire. People that leave children alone now get DSS on their butts and they might even have the children removed from their home.

Put Jim and Tim in a cage for an hour, let's see how handy Tim is against a man instead of women and kids.

I lived in one in Howard Street, Box Hill and the walls were super thin! They were only built with one layer of bricks.

Did anyone else notice that the kid "fell" AFTER the husband had already left?

I can't believe how many comments on these videos are so shallow. Who cares about how the actors on the show look. I barely notice some of these things people point out, because I'm too busy actually paying attention to the show, not how greasy someone's hair is or that they have hairy legs.

Isn't there anyone in PCBH that that don't smoke? They all look ... and no doubt smell ... like ashtrays!

I can't recall Judy ever smoking? What about Karen? In real life the actress who played Chrissie would get sick when they made her smoke so after she came back (After Doreen left) the scripts were altered so Chrissie would say she didn't smoke anymore but needed them to trade.

Betty Bobbit smoked in real life but chose to have Jude to not smoke. I think she stopped smoking in real life before she left Prisoner.
