Oktober Stone Yeah, you're right there, sometimes they just make hard work for themselves. I mean the front gate is locked with a standard padlock that any bolt cutter could get through and the fence is just thin wire so if they were intent on killing Tracey Morris a gang of them could quite have easily stormed the place. She should have been kept in a safe house somewhere.

Officer Sharp and Officer Barfield must of only got paid $5 dollars per scene if they only spoke for afew seconds...fundly enough I can't recall Officer Sharp ever talking in season 4 when she arrives. Not great for warders! I think Off Barfield only got afew lines in S3, S4, S5... maybe S6 but can't remember. I finished the whole series in July last year.

It was canceled I didn't see the whole series back than I appreciate the person who downloaded the series. It's very enjoyable. I only started watching Prisoner because of watching Wentworth on Netflix. I love both shows

Without knowing it (or intending to) the writers have portrayed Vera as a woman who has no life other than as a worker. You see her loneliness, her increasing bitterness, and worst of all how hopeless her future is. Fiona Spence is such a gr8 actress that she makes you FEEL Vera's despair and increasing desperation. You can SEE that, like today's women, Vera wants it all, but the reality is that neither she (nor today's women) will ever have it all. WHY? Because women USED to have it all, but allowed themselves to be mislead into believing that working was the route to satisfaction. Even with the example of men before them, men who worked 8 to 10 hours a day, struggled home to find NEW life with their wives and kids. The homecooked meal, The restful environment, and with a partner to shoulder at least a small part of the burden of day to day drudgery. Today's women are only now--43 years later--are they seeing that they--like Vera--have been lied to. There is no joy in working day in and day out at a thankless job.

Wow! Brilliant episode! Loved seeing Vera so awkward. That Damian bloke looked like a real creep.I LOL'd at Meg's overacting, the way she spun round when she was shot! Hahahahahahahaa! She was such a terrible actress. Later on in the series she gets locked up in a deserted warehouse with Anne Reynolds and she flops around on the floor like a fish, screaming "help!" very unconvincingly!
